We’ve been wanting to try out the red iguana for awhile so when we saw the taste of in the food court we had to give it a shot. We had nachos, smothered chicken burrito and enchiladas. All we’re fantastic and no one left hungry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu either at the taste of, or one of their restaurants.
While it may never beat the actual restaurant it’s based on, this is still a fantastic stop! The enchilada suizas are easily my favorite and the people prepared them surprisingly fast (I think I only waited 5 minutes after ordering). I do wish they have more mole options, but what is available is solid.
Taste of Red Iguana 🦎 does NOT disappoint!

A smaller limited menu than Red Iguana, hence the name “Taste of Red Iguana”.
I recommend the Chili Relleno burrito 🌯

Good vegetarian options. Meals come with a side of chips and salsa. Fajitas were delicious and the bean and rice burrito was tasty and filling. Nice place to go for a quick lunch or dinner. We went in a friday at about 5:30 and there was only a few minute wait to order and a few more minutes until the food was ready. Has a good spicy flavor but not too hot that it burns.
I'm unsure why the star rating for this is low. This is a good place. I'm prefer the actual full restaurant because we can get alcohol, but this is easy and fast when in the city creek area.
Carne asada is one of my favorite meals and this was good, two large tacos, plus the chips, rice and beans is a good sized meal.
My wife gets the enchiladas.

One of the best breakfast I’ve had ever. This hidden little gem inside of the mall food court is so authentic and delicious! I would totally recommend anyone to go out of their way and to come eat here this is not your average mall!

Was ready to give a five star because their customer service was amazing and they were super amazing and nice and helpful with my crutches. Then I got home from the trax and was serving up dinner they didn’t give the the order of two chips I paid for, and the chips that came with the meals. They’re amazing and friendly, but this brought down my review, especially because I paid for half of the chips we’re missing.
Update:
Just went back again today because everyone deserves a second chance and the lady remembered me and made it right. She’s fantastic and super friendly, and was very apologetic and I hope she know just how much it meant to me.
Fast and kind service. Food is always fresh and flavorful.
