Rico Cocina & Tequila Bar - Salt Lake City - Photo album

Great gourmet latin restaurant. Excellent preparation and presentation. Staff was nice and attentive. Small but diverse menu. Pork carnitas were great. The meatball appetizer was also excellent. Eat outside if weather permits. We really enjoyed it.
The chips & salsa, and main entries were all absolutely fantastic, so was the service. We had a tour at the manufacturing side of things afterwards also. The owner & owner's wife were very accommodating. Highly recommended. (In the picture, mango enchiladas) BTW (I think) Rico bought them and re-br
When it comes to Mexican food you have to appreciate a Restaurant that goes beyond the basics. Trust me I love tacos and burritos, but the reality is that Mexican food is so much reacher than that. Try the Huitlacoche Quesadilla is a Vegan option and is a delicious appetizer. My all time favorite en
Frida's Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in SLC for the awesome food, art, people and events. Definitely worth a visit!
Simply perfect! This is a great place to enjoy a great classy meal and some nice drinks. Everything I tried was tasty and came out looking professional!
This is a favorite although the last time there it wasn’t quite as good as prior times. Food is upscale Mexican as well as the cocktails. I like the pineapple jalapeño margarita.
Decor was bright and fun, so much to look at and I found it actually entertaining. The service was fantastic despite the fact that I was there with a young child, this is not what I would consider a place typically catering to children. The food was beyond what I imagined. Beautiful, artistic and
This place is delicious. Not since moving away from Mexico have I had such delicious Mexican food. I am a bit biased, because it turns out the chef is from Veracruz, which is where I spent my summers. All the recipes are the chef's grandmother's, and they are as delicious as you'd expect. Worth eve
It's a hidden gem. Not many people know about it....but highly highly recommended. We tried their fish tacos and veggie enchilada... And both were amazing. The taste was authentic and fresh for all the dishes. We had their nachos too... Which came with interesting salsas on the side.
This place is truly amazing! When you drive there, it feels first a bit surprising that you end somewhere in the nowhere between warehouses in a dead-end street. Having that said, the restaurant is surrounded by some really fancy and old school looking buildings. In fact, I instantly felt like bein
The ambiance this restaurant is great, especially if you love Frida Kahlo like I do. The food was a wonderful Fusion of tastes. The drinks were very good, I recommend the pepper martini. My only concerns is that I feel it was a bit overpriced, you have to pay for chips and salsa, and they don't spli
The restaurant is in an industrial area. There's a little hesitant about what it would look like. However, the restaurant was beautifully decorated a lot of of Mexican heritage. My husband got the chili relleno which is one of the best ones he's had. I got the shrimp dish that was simmered in tomato
I have ate here 4 times so far. Every time I go. I get greated nicely and fed in time. I love the food it's unique different and a good twist on the average taco I get. I asked to change a dish on the menu. They actually did it. I wanted chicken instead of pork and they gladly accommodated . I will
Surprise of the salty city. This Bistro will charm for a buisness meeting, proper date, or long dinner with friends. The menu is the best composed in Utah, the descriptions will make any mouth water. The hardest part is choosing to order just one at a time (and that's just the margaritas). The foo
My wife won a gift card to Frida Bistro, otherwise I think the price would have probably steered us elsewhere. The food was excellent, absolutely the best pork I have ever had. Our only complaint was that under my wife's potatoes was a hidden jalapeno pepper; biting into that was a bit unexpected,
My party came here for dessert and we were all very happy. The prices are a bit high but the food tastes fresh and the service was very good. The patrons were also very nice and more interactive than many you will find at restaurants around Salt Lake. I will certainly be going back to try a variety
