The Kathmandu - Salt Lake City - Photo album

#TheKathmandu is a great Nepalese and Northern Indian restaurant. The service was excellent, attentive, and gave great advice including on the spice level. We like it spicy! We really loved The Nepali take on dal with our order of #YellowDal Yellow lentils cooked with tomato, onion, and spices. Wh
Our server recommended us new items to try and my children loved it! The garlic nann and the vegetable samosas were a delicious start- we were hungry. Try the Taj Mahal Beer!
One of the best Indian restaurants in SLC. We come here regularly for the reliability, good service, and quality of food. The menu is diverse, with Nepalese options as well. The food quality is good and reliable. The rice is good too.
We tried the chef special and it was great!! The meat platter (sizzler) that was part of the chef special was SO GOOD! We got way more food than we were expecting, and had enough leftovers for lunches the next day. The service was great and they were all really nice. 10/10 would recommend and I want
I found myself hungry in Salt Lake City when I found The Kathmandu restaurant. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful in choosing from their extensive menu. I ordered chicken Vindaloo with a side of garlic bread. It was genuine Indian cuisine and it was delicious. They have a lunch buffet a
I recommend this place!! This is my first time meet here, I order lamb curry and lamb momo. I’ve been looking for lamb all over the city and their lamb in the Kathmandu taste soooo good!! However, their restroom environment is poor and the service is only a little better than average. But still, thi
We recently held our company party (40+ people) at their Kathmandu II location and it was phenomenal. The food was plentiful, delicious, and authentic. I am so grateful for experience they provided for our company. Thank you!
The food was delicious. We got the Chicken Coconut Korma and the Everest Curry. Both were hits. The Coconut Korma was rich and hearty and the Everest Curry was bright and fruity. It was great. I highly recommend both of those. The Cheese Naan was fluffy, and my wife got a dairy-free Mango and Coconu
We were on a trip from out of state and were looking for a lunch spot in the Millcreek area when we came across The Katmandu online. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. The Chana Saag and Daal Aloo ko Soup were both outstanding! My husband enjoyed the Chicken Tandoori. We ordered the
Wow I was really pleased with some of the new flavors that I have never tried. We had a group so we went family style and orders a ton. The sweet naan was new as was the Everest chicken. It is still a lot of Indian influence so you get all the familiar curries. Tons of lassi flavors too but mang
We recently enjoyed a meal at Kathmandu. Our entire party was impressed with the delicious food & great service. The chicken coconut korma was amazing. The Baigan Bharta was absolutely perfect. We ordered two appetizers, five dishes, Naan and numerous drinks; everything was wonderful. Our server wa
If you seem to have a habit of sticking to one 'comfortable' plate, i'll let you know now; This is a safe place to try different dishes. Almost everything i've had here is absolutely scrumptious ✨
This is the real deal. I haven't had food this good in a very long time. Every single bite was delectable. Definitely try the chicken momos, the garlic coconut naan, chicken tikka massala, and veggie kofta. I cannot wait to go back.
Food was ok, not as good as the first time we went. Service was not the best. The first time we went, it was great, though. Overall if you want this style of food this is a great place the food is normally amazing!
The food and atmosphere are great! Service was friendly and fast! We had a party of around 10, and everyone enjoyed their food. I would recommend trying it out.
