I took my wife and son to Stanza because I wanted to find Italian food that was different from the norm.
And Well talk about a Nice experience!
, customer service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very tranquil. My only gripe was that the asparagus that came with my lamb dish was overcooked and The portions of the food are also kind of small for the cost, but it's definitely an exquisite, high-class, restaurant.
I would say for myself I would probably not go there if it was not a very special occasion.
I will likely go there again in the future, probably only for date night or possibly anniversy with my wife.

Great pick for a lunch meeting! It was a quiet spot with excellent service. Our server came by often, provided helpful information, and was very personable. The food was delicious from the apps to dessert. I look forward to coming back for dinner soon.

EXCELLENT!!! Such a great spot, excellent food, excellent service and just a great time! Max was our server and that man deserves a raise! He was incredible.
We had a huge party and everyone’s orders were correct and placed in front of the correct person!
Max was super knowledgeable about the gluten free options and was super patient with all our questions!
So they do have some gluten free pasta options along with other meals! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😍

It's like a little secret: 'can I see your VEGAN menu' and everyone likes to feel a little special sometimes.
Service was great, Dylan was able to get a drink made for me off menu and was really attentive to my requests. The only recommendation I would make is not ordering both the olive appetizer AND the Mediterranean pasta: it's olive / artichoke overload.
Everything was really great though.

We don’t have a lot of place like Stanza in Salt Lake City. Definitely need more.
Simple menu and nice food. Friendly professional staff. I think I am going to try each dish they have on the menu. It’s a nice fusion, mediocre dine, I can’t call it as an Italian, because it would be disrespectful to other nice Italian places in the country.

This is definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants! I ordered sweet potato gnocchi. The gnocchi itself was so soft it practically dissolved when eating it. It had bacon and cranberries in the dish and the heaviness of the sauce and bacon were broken up so nicely by the cranberries. My husband had the bolegnese. It was also well balanced, with a fairly light mouthfeel for bolegnese. We also ordered dessert and did not regret it at all. They have their own pastry chef, which alredy helps explain why the desserts would be so good. We also ordered lattes with our dessert. The latte was not too bitter to make the dessert too sweet, and the dessert wasn't so sweet as to make the coffee seem bitter. Our server, Sarah, was super nice and helpful. She made an already nice night even more enjoyable. Overall, highly recommend.

During a girls trip we walked over to Stanza Italian Bistro for dinner from the Encore apartments where we had an Airbnb. We all enjoyed absolutely amazing food! The cocktails were delicious as well. We dined on the patio and it was so nice. There was an outdoor fireplace and it was very pleasant to dine outside. The wait staff took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This Italian fusion restaurant in the suburbs of Salt Lake City is quite amazing! Staff is very accommodating, long-suffering, and friendly. I did not see them turn away any guests for attire, even though you'll want to wear something appropriate, mildly sexy/adventurous, and sufficiently special for this level of dining.
Food was incredible and the selections are small but powerful, pricey but flavorful.
If I lived in this city, I'd treat Stanza as a "once in a while" indulgence, always looking forward to the next visit.

We had a birthday celebration dinner at Stanza and had a wonderful experience. The patio was quiet and quaint on a beautiful warm September night. We started with the Arancini that was not over fried, with a flavorful sauce. The rolls served with the meal were warm and fluffy, served with an herbed butter sauce. My main dish was Chicken Marsala - the chicken and as perfectly cooked and served over rich truffle risotto. For dessert- there were many options- and we tried two- I recommend the tiramisu which was balanced well - not too sweet with a strong coffee finish. To top off the meal, my Red win- a California Cabernet was 🤌🏻

This place is wonderful - drinks are unique and tasty, the stonefruit burrata was perfect for a warm night, and the chive butter with the dinner rolls was terrific. Our pasta was incredible!
The dessert....mmmmm....

Dylan my server picked my dinner and Appetizer and also the wine with it. My appetizer could've been cooked a little bit better on the shrimp I'm not into octopus but it's OK at least I enjoyed my meal the atmosphere and the personnel. As my 1st time being here as always when I do the surprise of letting them choose my meal always good and great.

By far our favorite Italian place. Like...absolutely nothing compares to it. Their food is spectacular, their drinks are delicious, the ambiance is stellar and upscale, yet not pretentious. Their service is incredible, nothing bad about this place, whatsoever.
Second time here...going on forever.
Recommend the veal&pork meatball small plate! Fav. Also the winter burrata has amazing flavors!

Drinks are on point, food NEVER disapoints. Nothing lackluster about this place. Perfect ambiance, perfect food, experience, everything. Service here is incredible. Ya know restaurants with like dim lighting, trying to set a specific mood and such, but you go in and it's TOO dim, too loud, etc? Somehow, Stanza has THE perfect lighting, and their fixtures are so so cool!
Edit: okay my FIRST semi negative review- the chocolate canoli wasn't my favorite thing. Get a different dessert, preferably the cheesecake cause that was AMAZING.

We've eaten here before and had an outstanding experience and this time it was good too, just not as good as last time.
Staff and ambiance are excellent.
We ordered a shared appetizer with a fried polenta cake, pear, honey, cured meat, and that was good-- interesting flavors and textures. We had the beet salad upon recommendation and they were kind to split it for us. This WAS delicious. We also got the gnocchi dish and the lobster pasta and added mussels. The gnocchi was just a little gummy, but the sauce was really nice, and the lobster had been cooked maybe a tiny bit too long, because it was a little tough too.
Overall nice experience.

Always, every time, great service. The food is just consistently very very good. The manager comes to check on us once every single time, after the food has arrived. The wine selection is great. The lasagna is stupid good. The girl who ordered a salad tried some and then cleaned half of it w me lol. Each person has one drink, an app, and two meals, u get out of there for like $100, what else do u want- love this spot!

This is a high-end experience. The lighting and decor set the calming mood. It's a very simple but elegant feeling. The service is absolutely phenomenal! The food was superb! We started with the mascarpone polenta, which was absolutely beautifully flavored! I really enjoyed it! Our dinner dishes were beautiful, tasty and filling! We enjoyed the rigatoni alla bolognese, and the Yukon gold and chive gnocci. We couldn't get enough! We also tried the trio dessert to get a taste of each! The tiramisu was the best I've ever had!!! We also enjoyed some wine and cocktails! Everything was perfect! Wonderful date night place, but it was definitely a splurge. On the pricey side.

I haven’t heard of Stanza until I went on a date here eve recently & it was fancy! I loved that they have parking in the back of the restaurant. Parking downtown is always a struggle. Everything was so clean & staff was so great! The bread they bring it is phenomenal! I forgot to get a picture of this. They have a great selection for wines & cocktails. I ordered the Clean Slate Riesling wine. It was delicious! For food, I ordered the Stanza Lasagna. This was a vegetarian option with the option of adding meat. I loved the cheese chunks on top of this! It was unique. They almost looked like tofu, but definitely was cheese. The mushrooms & baby tomatoes were a great addition to this meal. Presentation was pretty. My date ordered the 9 Grain Tagliatelle with salmon for a little healthier of an option. I didn’t try it but it looked really good! He said it was pretty good. We both thought the noodles didn’t taste homemade & thought they would be with the price of the dishes & how fancy the restaurant seemed. Their menu is pretty decent sized. I would recommend!

Wonderful restaurant! There isn't anything I'd want to improve. Our server, Abby, was fantastic, along with the rest of the staff. Had the Harvest Salad, which was a great mix of flavors. Loved the apples and cheese on the salad. The entree was the Agnolotti di Granchio. Incredible seafood dish. The tomatoes and asparagus were a great flavor contrast with the seafood and the sauce. The ricotta stuffed pasta was delicious. Excellent setting. Excellent service. Excellent food!

Great ambiance...perfect for a date or business lunch or dinner. The patio is nice too, on the east side of the building, so any time of day is comfortable. Good service. Decent wine list, not too extensive, but has something for everyone. The octopus small plate is exceptional. Every entre is delicious. Had a melon gazpacho that was good enough for dessert, but ordered a fruit tart with buttermilk gelato ....yummy. Great coffee too. Try this place out, it will be your next go to in SLC.

I honestly can’t get over how much I love this place. The service is some of the best I have experienced; the manager Keith goes above & beyond in making sure every guest is taken care of to the fullest extent. I also want to give a shout out to Drew & the bartender Kelson- they are so knowledgeable in all aspects of the menu.
I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a wonderful celebration, anniversary, or just a lovely night out. Thanks for always making us feel so special!

Went to Stanza last night for dinner and had the most beautiful time ever. The food was SO delicious and the service was incredible. We had an amazing experience. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant. Get the duck it was one of the most well executed dinners I have ever eaten.

Was ordinary....not so italian as americanized italian. Beautiful interior but our seats at the bar had a good shot of the service area. Staff chatted amongst themselves. Lovely wine list that was reasonable. Think (imho) better for lunch when the action is at a better clip.

Beautiful decor and ambiance, attentive and friendly service by the entire staff, and the food & wine were superb... We got “lucky”, but I could see where parking could/would be a problem at times... Overall, a “high five” last night...

We were so excited to get to try this new restaurant tonight. The only thing I can say is that the service was good. The food is not anything reminiscent of Italian... At all. They even managed to make the carbonara taste not great. The bruschetta was void of tomato which is fine but it was a garbanzo bean mixture, and the flavor was ok, but it was liked so high on the little piece of toast that it was really awful. It is a lovey restaurant, the building and interior...but we will not be back. Very expensive for what you get.

Absolutely delicious food, especially the Oxtail paired with Sea Bass! Timing means a lot to me, I hate being rushed while dinning, the service was well trained in making me feel like a guest and not a costumer. Stanza is one of the best restaurants this side of the Rockies!

Food is not great, they prepare most dishes in advance and serve them chilled from the refrigerator which affects flavors. They need a new chef, this one isn't very good. For the prices this food is not where it needs to be.
