Cannella's is a wonderful dinning experience. The dishes are wonderful and visually appealing. It has a bar, and there is alfresco dining in the of the restaurant. The service is quick and the staff is very knowledgeable. The deserts are wonderful. It's a great time for your taste buds.
We arrived without a reservation not knowing it was necessary. They were gracious enough to still squeeze us in. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor quiet charming. I was a bit thrown off by the giant black curtains that hang right in the entrance between you and the host. We had the grandmas lasagna and it did not disappoint! My only complaint would be the size of the serving for the cost. It’s not much food for what you pay! But the house salad dressing is really good and the staff were great.
You need to try this Italian inspired Resturant. Great location in downtown Salt Lake City. From the moment the food touches your mouth the little food babie within will stop crying and start speaking the beautiful langauge of food in Italian. We loved the food and desert and will check it out again. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star was due to the staff. It would be good to have someone ready to help you and share the story of this gem, but we figured it out. Give it a try!
For a rough $20 entree, you're sitting pretty. Great food. Great atmosphere. Menu seems a little weak..... But everywhere had their thing.
This place was great. The food was delicious and the service was superb. It was a quiet environment with a homelike vibe.
I continue to come back for the great service and awesome food. My goto is the Italian salad, but the Mac and cheese is phenomenal.

Tonight was the second time we ate here and it was amazing both times. We walked in and were seated immediately, at a table with enough space to fit our baby in her car seat. Mia was our waitress both times, and she was the best waitress for us. She brought us our food at a nice pace, not too fast, but not leaving too much of a time gap between courses. She checked in to make sure our drinks were filled often and made personally sure that our food was amazing. We didn't love (though that was definitely personal preference. It was good.) the dessert we picked, so she got us a new one because "you have to end dinner on a good note." Well, the whole thing was amazing, and it was a perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday! It is our favorite Italian restaurant by far!
Great food. Amazing staff. Can't wait to go back and try something else. I had the zucchini noodles and meatball. The meatball was huge and had the perfect texture and seasonings. The deep red marinara sauce was incredible. Brooklyn was the best!
The food here was amazing. When we first walked in it looked like there was only two people working in the entire restaurant. There was a sign that said please seat yourself which felt a little odd considering it was the lunch rush and there were about 5 or 6 other people waiting to sit down. In there favor the waitress was very fast. Our food came out really quick and delicious. So maybe the other stuff was just an off day?
