The Dodo Restaurant - Salt Lake City - Photo album

Lovely dinner with friends we haven't seen in years. The food was wonderful, the pie is amazing, but the service was outstanding. Lizzy kept our drinks full, visited often, and gave us plenty of time to sit and converse with long missed friends. We will be back. Sooo good.
The food here is very fresh and very tasty! The desserts are so yummy!! The dessert menu partially changes each day so make sure to ask. The atmosphere is good, it is just very loud in there. Seems like most restaurants have that problem. Other than that, I like the atmosphere... lighting, layout, e
Really fun place with great food! I got the halibut with mashed potatoes and veggies and it was tasty!! We also tried three different desserts that were all great! The toll house pie would have been better without nuts in my opinion, but the banana cream cheese was yummy!!
This is a wonderful little place to sit down for lunch or dinner or just a slice of pie. Fantastic service from everybody (even the host who was brand new). The entire staff was happy, upbeat, friendly, and had their own recommendations from the menu. All of the food was awesome, but don't leave thi
Been here multiple times and always leave satisfied. The specialty appetizer is pesto bruschetta right now and it was very tasty! I love the Asian chicken pasta (I prefer it served hot, then eat my leftovers chilled the next day) and my husband got the herbed chicken pasta. I thought his was seasone
Everything so fast. We order the polenta cakes, all the flavors were very good. The beef stroganoff capture my até since I saw the menu and was amazing. Also was the special jalapeño chimichurri pasta. The drinks also very good, I’m not a fan of Gin, but the Parleys was so good balance that I was ve
We absolutely loved our experience at the Dodo. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, atmosphere was great (but a little chilly), facilities were very nice and clean. I wish they took reservations but the wait wasn't terrible. They told us it would be a 70 minute wait and it ended up b
One of my favorite brunch place in town. Food is always great in terms of taste, presentation and serving size. The place has got a good vibes, clean, always full so just have to consider the timing. The staff are very attentive, professional, generally exceptional in what they do. They have an ampl
I Googled "best pie in Salt Lake City" and the Dodo popped up and we were not disappointed! The jalapeño shrimp pasta was delicious and our pies were arguably the best pies we've ever had!! I highly recommend this place for food and definitely for a huge yummy piece of pie of your choice.
The service and location/ambience made up for what my food lacked. I ordered the Asian chicken pasta. It was just ok. It needed more veggies with it, instead of just a garnish of veggies. And I asked for more sauce because it was just kind of boring. I wish I had ordered the crab & avocado grilled c
This past weekend I was in Salt Lake, visiting friends and family. The Dodo restaurant is always one of my favorites. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. I really want to give Addy a shout out, she was very attentive, and friendly. One of our family members was late and we sat at ou
I come here often. The food is always good and has a unique flair that blends flavors together well. The desserts are off the charts delicious, and you should try them all. My typical choices are French dip sandwich and one of the cream pies, usually banana cream.
Wonderful place for dinner with family with a nice selection of the menu. Fantastic drinks as well. Service was exceptional and very attentive. Great food, except it could be salted a little more. But otherwise delicious, full of flavor and carefully made!
Mmmm, great place. Baked cream cheese and crackers- dynamite. Tuna melt- spectacular. Shrimp salad sandwich- amazing. We also got a bowl of asparagus seafood chowder and pork pasole. The only bad thing here is the parking… hard to find one. The food and service is great though. I think it’s a bit on
I enjoyed everything about the food here. The options we selected must have been made for us because they were perfect! Pasta is not usually something I enjoy, but it was recommended by the waiter as a special. I am always more than happy to try recommendations and I'm glad I did. The avocado pasta
Wow! Everything it's so Good! Good food, good service, good drinks! I try the polenta cake like appetizer. It's so good! Late I try the jalapeno chimichurri pasta. Wow Tasty!!! My server was Saia, really nice guy and so kind! I will back!.
This is a regular spot for us. Good, reliable, and has specials to mix things up. I’m not a desert person but this is a place to have one if you do. The service is always good. They have a good mixed drink and beer menu. Prices are on the higher side, that’s the only negative. The patio is the best
Can't say enough good about our visit! Decorated so nicely for Christmas!! We had the crackers and cream cheese appetizer! Yum! Sis and I both had a French dip special... Delish!! Cream of mushroom had a little kick (spicy). Looking forward to going back again!
