Went and bought three cupcakes as a “test run” before committing to a custom cake for my sons first birthday. I got the double chocolate, strawberry shortcake, and birthday cake with vanilla icing. All three were very Dense and the icing to cake ratio was off. Way to much icing. The double chocolate was just absolutely horrible. Couldn’t finish my half. Threw it away. Birthday cake with vanilla icing, not bad but very dense like I said. But me being someone who bakes for fun can do a lot better. Strawberry shortcake was my favorite of the three no complaints besides it being dense. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. I’ll keep driving an hour away to go to Ketchie Creek Bakery in mocksville. This is my honest opinion and by no means am I a professional cook or baker. I’m just a momma trying to make her sons first birthday meaningful. Not only for my son but for myself and friends and family.

If you need a birthday cake this is the place to go! I ordered a custome cake for my niece's first birthday and it turned out amazing. From start to finish everything was very delightful and professional. It was as simple as getting in touch with them via email, sending a few pictures of the look I was going for, and choosing my flavor/filling. The decor inside Abigail's is also very nice it makes you want to sit down on their big comfy couch and enjoy a macaroon, which by the way are super delicious as well!
