Enjoyed my dinner. Still getting adjusted to NC style BBQ and the lack of St Louis style ribs but the pulled pork (chopped) I had here was pretty darn good. The slaw was fresh. Hushpuppies delicious. They serve a lot of diner type food too. Waitress was the best. Nice clean restaurant with adequate tables.

If you enjoy a small home-cooking Diner, this is it! Even though we were told they were behind, as we took the last open table, we had drinks within 10 minutes. Our sandwiches came out within 20 minutes: hot, fresh, & tasty! The deli turkey was plentiful, hubby's Reuben was thick with lean meat, & friend's burger was perfect. Service was friendly, great, & fast, despite there being a Saturday after a snowstorm lunch crowd! Enjoyable!

Went in for breakfast while I waited for my 2nd appointment to open. Half the place was full of customers and I ran into an old friend. Service was quick and the food was cooked just right. Only saw one waitress and she was taking care of everyone and didn't seem to be rushed. Giving everyone great service and kept my coffee filled.

No brisket. No ribs. Store-bought chili for hot dog--probably from a freezer or can, like everything else. Canned BBQ beans. Frozen fries. Frozen onion rings. Did I mention, CANNED CHILI? No white slaw, and "bbq sauce" on tables is watery and unappealing. Heresy! Blasphemy!
What a waste of good swine. The napkin holders and condiment bottles on table are nasty too. The servers were friendly, *this* time. Have had issue with them being rude and unprofessional before

I have been eatting since since I was a little girl(80s)..I moved to KS 8 yrs ago and miss this place..each time I come and visit I always make a stop here. I am never disappointed..and I always get a witch dr(or what they call a cherry lemon sundrop). Always a classic, keep it up guys..still my favorite place to eat all these years later and always friendly.

The drive thru moved at a good pace. The pork was a little dry but had good flavor. The vinegar sauce was really good. I will eat there again.

Stopped by to pick up dinner. Been eating NC barbeque my whole life. I don't understand how this place has stayed in business with Lexington Barbeque only 20 minutes away. Learned my lesson. Never again. Sauce just weak white vinegar, no flavor. Slaw had bad taste. Ugh.

The bbq dip is horrendously sour and practically clear. The hush puppy's were raw in the middle. The French fries were not done, I can't believe this place has fallen to this level. I've been coming here for over 40 years, never again!!!
