We enjoyed our anniversary at Patria last night, and we had an amazing evening. We started with a shared crab cake, served over mashed potatoes, all the flavors were so amazing and explosive ! Hubby had the salmon en parchment and I had the Patriattini, prawns in a spicy red sauce and delicious homemade pasta. We enjoyed their Gundlach Gewürztraminer which was not our first choice, but it paired nicely with our meals. We ended the meal with tre chocolate mousse, which was heaven on a plate !
Our waiter, Michael, was very knowledgeable of all of the food choices and the wine list, and he made our night there perfect. I highly recommend Patria for any dining out occasion.
The decor is charming. I've only been here 3 times, but each time, the food exceeds my expectations! I highly recommend the wild boar pasta dish with ragu sauce!
This is a charming gem with delicious food. The decor was nicely done and there wasn't a single bite of food that we didn't absolutely enjoy! The chef visited our table and later happily wound up the cuckoo clocks so my daughter could experience their chirping birds, chimes, and moving characters. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you Chef!
Ended my birthday night with an awesome meal at Patrias... my European friend swears by schnitzel so I gave that a try and I was not disappointed. The plate had nice portions and it was seasoned very well. I talked my wife into getting the lamb shank and WOW we both were impressed. It tasted so dang juicy, and really really hit the spot. The shank was huge, but the taste was on point so it was devoured. Lol.
We ended dinner with a creme brule and a pear strudel and both were amazing.
The atmosphere was very nice, and now this is gonna be a regular spot of ours from now on.
Fabulous atmosphere, menu, food, presentation, ambiance, staff exceeded expectations! Will go back. Very nice and just a little different from all the rest.
The halibut was very good and my boyfriend got the pork chop which he also enjoyed and I tried a little bit. It feels good tonight you can trust the waiter to bring you a Chardonnay that pairs well with your food. The reservation I made wasn't even necessary for a Friday at 6:45. The service was excellent and I don't think I have had a better fish, not even kidding. I left my plate completely clean and unfortunately didn't leave room for dessert
Delicious schnitzel, great service and amazing ambiance. My sister and I felt like we were in Europe. We live about 1.5 hours away but said we would return. It would be a fantastic place for any type of celebration. The waitress also recommended a wine, a red blend, and we loved it. It is a hidden treasure in the area.
My first time for wife and I, based on our daughters recommendation! Dinner was awesome! Had the Halibut special! Yummy, we're going back asap! It's a Carmel, Monterey restaurant without leaving Salinas!
Very tasty! Had the gnocchi and my partner had the carbonara, both exceeded my expectations. Everyone was also very kind which personally I found surprising. Generally my partner and I are ignored at nicer restaurants because we come from work to go out and look a bit disheveled (we work with kids). Everyone came by while we were looking at the menue to make sure we had been helped they were fast but did not sacrifice flavor to be so. The restaurant is a bit pricey, however you get what you pay for. We can not wait to go back! Thank you for making out date night a delicious one, we will see you all soon.
I went yesterday for the first time. Place is nice and food is very good. The only thing is that I was expecting bread and butter and olive oil in my table but we only got water. Besides that the experience was very satisfactory.
