Drove into town for dinner while staying at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and was not disappointed. The chips were very fresh and had substance, and the queso was nice and creamy. Salad bowl with chicken and steak burrito were both tastey. I would visit all the time if I lived in Salida.

Amazing low key build your own type of taco joint. The pork was tender and delicious and the serving huge. Homemade banging chips and amazing smooth queso, good to the last drop! 😄
Straightforward burrito/taco/bowl. Different protein selections, fresh food and veggies where it made a GOOD difference in the taste. Servers were polite without going over the top. Clean and fun place to sit and drink a beer with your food too.
Food here was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We unknowingly walked in about 10 minutes before close. They still served us without complaint and went out of their way to make sure we knew what we were getting (it was our first time). Try the tacos!
Always a great place to garb some food on my way to Gunnison. The food taste great and they have some games for the kids to play while we are there. Nice indoor and outdoor seating area.
