Su T Bar

Eh I ordered avocado bubble tea here but it was very VERY lightly sweetened. . It seemed like I was paying for some blended water and avocado. But its connected to one of the busiest asian stores in salem so 🤷🏽‍♀️ you win some you lose some. It was busy at Ocean Star so that's what im.chalking it up to. Food here is probably 🔥 tho. Will edit when I eat there.

This is such a great little place to visit! It's clean, the decor is lovely, and the staff is friendly and receptive. They've got a wide selection on the menu from sushi to dinners and bento boxes, and we opted for two bento boxes this time. Mine included tempura veggies, teriyaki chicken, tuna maki rolls, and a house salad, all made with care and presented neatly. Delicious. The takoyaki- oh the takoyaki. I am addicted to these octopus balls and Su T Bar does them perfectly. Topped with katsobushi and mayo, I could eat a dozen of these.

Food was great! The servers were very nice and the interior is quite charming, if a bit small. It's a little spendy but pretty normal compared to most sushi places, and you do get quite a bit of food, which is nice. The location is a little unfortunate, the bar is in a bit of a rougher area, and the outside of the building is pretty off-putting. Don't let that deter you though, the restaurant itself is definitely worth a visit if you like decent Japanese-style seafood.
