Sandwich Express

I really feel that this location is a hit or miss. Sometimes the people working are nice and friendly, other times very rude and it seems that they’re trying to get you out as fast as possible even while you’re ordering. I really enjoy the turkey pesto sandwich, it is very filling. This is a 6 inch sandwich - meat under the lettuce and very delicious.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I used to love this place. Now everything is gross and sticky. Even the salt and pepper shakers. It might be ok if the customer service was nice. But everyone I encountered was super rude and impatient. My sandwich was so disappointing. I drove 25 minutes to have the corned beef with saurkraut. The cheese was gross and floppy, barely melted. There was SO much dressing on it that is all I could taste. My dining partner got beer battered fries and some were so burnt they were literally black. They also audibly made fun of my dining partner while they were in the back. It was absolutely unacceptable and just plain rude. I am seriously so disappointed and will not be back. Thank goodness there is a firehouse subs near me.

Horrible customer service. Didn't realize sandwich came with certain dressings and were going to request an adjustment on the sandwich at the window. Instead of the employee coming to the window to greet us, we saw her in the window on her personal cellphone making a call for multiple minutes. Then when we asked to have certain items removed from the sandwich, the response we got was "We already made the sandwich". I understand it's our mistake and should had seen on the menu what came on the sandwich, but I also hold the employee accountable for her lack of good customer servic, ignoring us at the window to be on her cellphone, and willingness to make any adjustments. Her response was rude and poor customer service. Also, how is a sandwich both extremely soggy and stale at the same time?

Sandwich was bland and expensive. Service was slow and disinterested. They were out of ingredients, gave us the wrong size sandwich, we would have had to wait in the very slow and busy drive through to attempt to correct the problem because the lobby was closed. Just not good. Does Salem even have a good sandwich shop? Beginning to doubt it.

I love this place. Excellent portions, especially for the price. Sandwiches are very tasty and they also serve very good beer battered fries. The fries are always fresh and piping hot. I suspect they make them fresh either per order or at least very frequently. They charge for a side of ranch, which is a bummer but at least they have it available. No avocado. God they need avocado. The bread is perfect.

Never been before so I wanted to give it a try.. disappointed in spending almost $30 on 2 meals and the sandwiches are super flat. Took almost 20 min to get our food in the drive through (hoping it was fresh) but not so much. The only good thing is staff was friendly and the fries were good. Other than that wouldn't recommend
