Very good food tonight. I find the hibachi, with the steaks cooked to order, a great value! I asked to have mine cooked medium rare, and it was! That's not always the case at restaurants in rural Missouri.
I always enjoy the Won Ton Soup here, and tonight was no exception. The salad and add-ons were fresh and crispy. The sushi was very fresh, varied, and tasted great!
And of course, the hot buffet offerings are extensive, varied and quite good. They make a point of having fresh food on the buffet right to the end of the night.
You never have an excuse to leave Ocean Buffet hungry!

Mongolian bar was great. All the food was fresh and the drinks stayed full. Great selection of sushi and other items. Definitely a good place to take the family. Something for everyone for sure. Tell them I sent ya, won't get you any discount but probably get a weird look...lol

This place is outstanding as far as Asian cuisine goes. Service was excellent. The waitress checked on us constantly and was very good spirited. You will not believe the choices on the buffet. They have pretty standard fare to more exotic items like frog legs and octopus. The only reason I gave it four stars was because my fried squid was cold and rubbery. Otherwise, top notch!

There was a lot of variety here. Food was good, some were a little dried out. The sushi was decent and the hibachi was very good. The servers were nice for the most part but after we waited for someone else to arrive, she seemed to keep rushing us even though we said there was one more coming. She handed us the check and I said we were waiting and she said ok but then kept coming by to see if we were done and ready to pay even though our last person had arrived and was eating.

I toke my mother and Father, my wife and daughter there for supper on a Friday night. It was amazing I would them 12 stars if you asked how I would rate them from 1 to 10 scale. They have everything you can want from the ocean side. And also have some Chinese on the Buffay and they also have a hibachi grill cooked to order. You can chose your meat from beef, chicken and shrimp plus the veggies. They will fry it up to your choice right in front of you.

They have the best selection and flavor of food in the whole area. Nowhere can beat them in the five surrounding counties. Highly recommend it. They have the best hibachi and make sure to tip the hibachi cook he does the best job. Better than Springfield MO anyday

They always take care of everyone when we order here! I love this place! I order online most of the time because I don’t have time to stop and eat inside, but they always have it ready to pick up right on time.
The foods always fresh and hot still by the time you get home.
They pay attention to notes you leave for specific food orders.
Example: I ordered a shrimp noodle and in the box that says instructions I put spicy! They made it spicy.
They always give you your moneys worth. But again my favorite part about their restaurant is that they take care of their customers! 💕 thank you all at Ocean Buffet St.Robert! ♥️

This is by far my favorite Chinese place to eat at. The place is super clean, bathrooms are clean, the waitresses are sweet and are always on top when it comes to filling up our drinks or taking plates away. The food is super good! There’s so many selections! My favorite is by far the coconut shrimp! I recommend coming and checking the place out.

There was some great seafood, but not as much as you'd expect from a place called ocean buffet. The assortment of Asian cuisine, however, was fantastic! there was more food than I could possibly try, and all of it was delicious! I especially liked the coconut shrimp and sesame balls with bean paste. I also tried some new foods I've never had before. I wish I could tell you what they were, somewhere great some were interesting. The prices are reasonable, and the service was great. I think this is easily the best Asian restaurant around!

Ohhh so good. The buffet is awesome. Always have fresh trays of everything. Good quality. The servers are on top. Of their game for getting plates out of your way. Taking one star away beacae the bathroom was pretty gross. But the food and service are amazing.

I really liked this place for the variety! They even had a Hibachi grill there with Sushi! Sushi was very good, and the hibachi grill, well, it was ok, but it was still offered. As much as you care to eat for about $8 with tax a day isn't too bad. Not entirely Japanese quality that I've gone to for Hibachi, but Sushi was very good. It was almost like a Japanese/Chinese/other oriental type food. I would go here again. I went to another Japanese restaurant, and it's not the same, but how can you complain for a buffet for $8? Their egg drop soup was very good! Like I've said before, for the money I spent it was very good; but if you want authentic Japanese food, go to a specific Japanese restaurant.

This is everything you can ask for in a buffet. I'm my option it's not 5 star food but it will satisfy and entire family of cravings.
There's anything from pizza to sushi not in the mood for either maybe a assortment of asain foods will fit you bill. With excellent service and amazing smells it gives you no reason to not just go in a take a look. Plus with the unlimited amount of food it's a good place to go if you need to fill that hole in your stomach. Eat as much or as little as you would like.
What's keeping it from 5 stars. This is a problem I personally have with most if not all buffets and is well know. The food isn't as high of quality as a restaurant that specializes in that type of food.
