Well worth a visit for lunch! The wait was a little long but I've had worse! And the sandwich I ordered was delicious; well-seasoned and spicy chicken (if I had to guess it was a berbere sauce) on a toasted roll with a touch of mayo, tomato, lettuce, and sauteed onions. Totally reasonable for ~$9, and a decent size too.

One of the only places around open late on a Friday night. The food was AMAZING!

Unassuming building on Snelling, but the food and tea are INCREDIBLE. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was the most flavorful chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Go support this local establishment - you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious, authentic homemade Eritrean and East African food here made by none other than Chef Afewerki Bein himself, and he himself has a fascinating personal story. This place is a must! The food is incredible. Try their chicken sandwich, sambusa, any of their enjera dishes, and their foul (fava bean stew with vegetables and bread). Their tea and coffee are also always consistently perfect. Yes wait time can be a bit longer than your typical eatery/fast casual, but remember the food is fresh, homemade/made from scratch, culturally authentic and made with a lot of heart. Support African, Black and immigrant owned businesses. This is one spot I pray never goes away with increasing gentrification in our Snelling Midway community!
