I stumbled across this place on a walk. I very much enjoyed this place.
The lady at the service counter was very nice and helpful. I ordered an iced vanilla latte. It tasted great. Also asked for a glass of water, she brought it out quickly. Ordered the BLT (my go-to) and I liked that they put the mayo on the side. Simple and lovely.
I would come back here. With the set up, looks like you can have a big group or sit alone. Nice music in the background to enjoy too. I would recommend checking this place out. I bet its super cozy when the snow falls.

First time stopping into Golden Thyme. The atmosphere is incredible. Spacious and comfortable seating, local artwork, and smooth jazz music selection. The breakfast here is food of the highest quality. The shrimp & dirty grits were delicious and packed with jumbo shrimp, eggs your way, veggies, cheese and soft grits. I ordered a couple breakfast burritos that were well received by the rest of my family. The burritos are big too. These came with sides of fluffy pancakes and sweet French toast.
Absolutely amazing experience here at Golden Thyme. This restaurant is also committed to giving back to the youth in the community and that just emphasizes how important this Cafe is as a pillar in St. Paul. I very much look forward to my next visit. Quality breakfast and friendly staff!!!

Came for breakfast and ordered loaded hash browns and a breakfast biscuit. Loaded hash browns were amazing! Hash browns covered in sautéed veggies, cheese and bacon shreds, and an easy over egg with a slice of toast. More than enough food! Biscuit was also excellent. Had black coffee which was deep tasting, smoky, and delicious! I will definitely return!
I ordered the Muddy Paws with almond milk and whipped cream - delicious. I also tried the Billy Holiday - delicious! Clean space and would definitely come back.
Did a balloon set up here for a customer. Love the manager, very nice guy.

Great local coffee shop! They moved across the street recently, but still have a great atmosphere. We rented out the space for a morning work gathering and it was great, plus the food was delicious.
Met a friend for coffee who had never been to GT before. She liked it as much as I do! Love the comfy atmosphere, diverse clientele, colorful decor, clean, modern and relaxing place!
