Yapi Mediterranean Subs And Sandwiches

Delicious halal food! I tried Philly sub. It was well-marinated. I love the bread, crispy and fresh. Try their sweet rolls. Very clear menu, with size options. They have some parking spots available right in front of the restaurant. Not sure if there are any more available in the nearby streets. The owner was friendly and kind, available and open to any questions about the menu. Really appreciate their service!

I have never written a review for a restaurant, but my meal and experience here was so amazing that I must leave a glowing review. First off, the atmosphere was very nice. The woman attending the counter was very kind and helpful. The variety of flags decorating the room gave a homey feeling. I ordered the Gyro Supreme, and it was worth every penny. It was a huge gyro packed with fresh and delicious ingredients. It was of extremely high quality and quantity for the cheap price. Me and a friend ordered our gyros to go, and we met up at another restaurant with our other friends. They were all extremely jealous of the gyros we got from Yapi. The only regret me (and my friends) have is not going to Yapi sooner!

INCREDIBLE!! I love this place. Thank you Chelsea for the best recommendations. My dad and I went here together for the first time and from the food, price, & overall atmosphere, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The food came out quickly and was absolutely DELICIOUS. def try the fries … and everything else.

Good dinner. I was surprised to see there was no lettuce with the Yapi Salad. I need to read the description more carefully. The gyros were very good. EDIT: was able to finally go to Yapi’s new location. It is quaint. High ceilings in a historic building along Vandeventer. There is a strange change in the floor elevation near the checkout that has a step down that should be appreciated with caution. I liked having access to a soda fountain and ice. I ordered the gyro salad and my friend had the grilled chicken salad. Both were served in an artistic manner with abundant meat on top of the lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers and sliced banana peppers (which I decided not to eat, but they would have left them off if I had mentioned it when ordering.) I again enjoyed my dinner from Yapi. Parking is a bit challenging, with only street parking available. However, we found a spot easily.

Yapi's has some of the tastiest Mediterranean food I've had! My sister and I dined in for lunch after checking out MOCRA on SLU's campus just down the road. We Googled "lunch places near me" and came across Yapi's. The woman who took our order (should have asked her name) was very personable, kind, and helped us make informed decisions about our order. The space was well-decorated and clean. I ordered the Philly Sub with a side of fried pickles. Italian subs are my very favorite sandwich, but this really changed the game. It tasted similarly to an Italian sub, but had melted cheese and sauteed cucumbers. It was rich, savory (exactly what I was looking for), and quite filling. I can't wait to return and order another. The fried pickles were also delicious and reheated well in the air fryer at home. My sister ordered the gyro supreme. It was double or triple what she could eat (as she was warned, haha), but she was happy to have leftovers. She also ordered falafel. We took home more than half of what we ordered and only spent $34 between the both of us. I was very pleased with their prices, I feel like I haven't seen anything priced that low in the city in years- and for such a delicious menu!

My wife and I hit this new spot in our neighborhood for lunch today. She got the Loaded Fries with buffalo chicken and I got the Gyro Supreme. Both entrées were killer! Service was prompt and friendly. The hummus is yummus just a little lacking on the garlic. Haven't tried the baklava yet but it looks fantastic! I suggest checking it out. Next time I'll be getting a burger. Excellent kids menue
