The best authentic food is 85% of the time in the hood. This is my first time trying this establishment So far, it is good and the portion size was well worth the money. They gave me more than enough, 2 people could eat this. Kudos to you all!!ππ

I ordered the rib tips and turkey ribs with potato salad and spaghetti. I loved the potato salad for sure as it wasn't dry like most places in St Louis. This was my first turkey rib experience, and it wasn't bad. The tips could have been a bit more tender, but I still ate them all! Now the sauce was terrific, but it was kinda on the salty side as other reviews have pointed out. I live a bit nearby this place at the moment, so I'll be back for sure to try the burger. Oh, I really messed up and forgot to order the fried peach cobbler this last time. BTW, I did try to correct Google Maps on the exact location, but it is obvious when you are actually there.
On a funny side note, when I talk to people about this place, the easiest way to describe the location is "across the street from the notorious gas station on Goodfellow" π¬
The food was wonderful 14 dollars for over a pound of perfect rib tips, potato salad, and greens. Find me a place in Saint Louis that'll feed 3 with tons of leftovers for a whole meal the next day for 41 dollars. And the fried cobbler was amazing.

I have been eating at this establishment since 2020. The portion sizes are off the chain. The bbq is delicious and cooked right on site.
So I read the reviews and I was so intrigued by the owner. He's not rude AF in his responses to reviews but that's what brought me in. He isn't rude y'all. He's about his money and everyone high key gets on his nerves because they don't read!!!! I watched the folks not reading. That annoys me as well. Shiddddd. The food was extremely good and for the price you get ALOT!!! We have to do better though. If y'all would read AND close the door he'd be cool. I followed directions and didn't have not one issue. Try it and maybe y'all wouldn't have such negative reviews.
The man behind the counter comes across aggressively, but I feel that's just who he is as he was helpful. Enjoyed reading the items on the wall as I waited for my food. The links, potato salad, and spaghetti were good as well as the portions.
When you go to a local spot, and they're sold out of most everything, you know it's damned good....
