The bartender was a total class act. She was sweet, but assertive to the guests that may have taken her kindness for a weakness. She was really generous with her smiles, jokes, and laughs. I felt very comfortable there and could recommend everyone give this place a try any time of the week. It's clean, nice bathrooms, and spacious. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite bars in St. Louis. If you're searching for your cheers spot this might be it. Chances are no one will know your name because this is a pretty popular spot but it has a super cozy and friendly vibe nonetheless. They treat the regulars and new visitors the same. Drinks are decently priced. The don't do food but allow you to bring your own. I encourage you to stop by Vinnie's across the street and grab a sandwich or Pizza-A-Go-Go down the way before stopping in. There's bubble hockey in the basement and a patio with a few games. They always have the Blues and Cards playing.

My first time in there last night. I like this place. It is a smoking bar, but there are a few spots you can sort of get away from it if you want. Nice patio area, a tucked away spot downstairs. Very lively crowd, cheap drinks, pretty good service. Has some real old world decor in there, and plenty of table games if you want to do that. This is not a place that I would consider handicapped accessible, so keep that in mind if that is a consideration for you.

What a great local dive bar. The games on the patio are just an added bonus. If you are afraid of dogs this might not be the place for you. They have a sweet German Shepard that normally sits on top of the steps right when you walk in, completely harmless but catches most people off guard. They do not offer food, but Vinnie's next door will deliver to them.
