This room was once my favorite optometrist's shop. So there's that. Keep coming back, despite the curious absence of foam of any kind. All the stars.
Cozy venue. Friendly staff (thanks Stevie).
Sound was fine for the size. Coffee was damn fine. Awesome place. Will return.
Hanging outside, the street hustlers DO get annoying after the tenth time the same dude tries to sell you stolen AA batteries and toothbrushes, but that's NOT the fault of the venue. That's society systematically encouraging urban blight and stacking the deck against particular socioeconomic groups.
This place is a dump in a good way. Great staff and location makes it a destination. Small selection of booze, but coffee and tea make up for it. The room has a great vibe for the live acts, making it one of the best tiny music venues in town. Will be back.
Hip coffee shop / bar combo; warm environment with lots of brick and wood. Live indie band up front, quiet library and sipping area way back. Good, strong coffee.
Foam is a really great venue for drinks but I'm not a fan of it as a music venue. It's too small, with less than ideal acoustics. It's very hard to even have limited conversation when there's a band playing
Good coffee and good local brews on tap. Their coffee cocktails are something special.
Interesting and friendly staff. I’ve seen some incredible bands in this intimate venue. Great space to see live original music from the best local bands and national touring acts.
Great place to sip coffee and meet people during the day and see shows at night. A very open and inclusive queerspace with a diverse crowd of regulars.
We were invited to play here with our friends Estevan & True Friends for Estevan's CD Release party. This place is a great small venue with a good local craft beer and domestic (cheap beers) and cocktail selection. They make a great coffee as well. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The sound system is good and run professionally. We had a blast here. We highly recommend checking this place out for local and small national acts or just to meet up for coffee with friends.Cool vibe in a fun neighborhood.
Went for the "Impossible Trivia" night beginning at 7 PM, hosted by Rob. Great time and lots of fun. Cocktails, beer on draft, cans and bottles. I didn't have the coffee (yet). A small crowd, but made it enjoyable, still Will definitely go again. Service by Amy(?) at the bar was great, also!
Need a place to get espresso up past midnight? Here's the only one in town. They also have some great shows. I stumbled into a noise show the other day. The crowd and staff were super kind even though I walked right through the middle of the concert to get in. Tip:... they have a second door just a few steps down the sidewalk from the main front door on Cherokee. If you're concerned about accidentally walking into the middle of an audience watching someone on their stage, I suggest taking the side door.
Someone I work with was one of the djs at a 90s party and even though it was small it was a great time. Just get to whatever event it may be early due to it being getting hot really fast.
Good environment, easy to find, good drink prices!
Acoustics are great for shows! Staff is always super nice.
Easily my favorite venue for live tunes in St. Louis. While the acoustics aren't the greatest the ambiance is more indie, and more grown up. There's always a great selection of brews and the coffee (roasted by Arthouse) is darn good. Try the mocha (made with Kakao chocolate) with whole milk, for a nice treat.
