This is my favorite Shanghai type of food in Missouri. We go here at least once a month. Maybe more. Water dumplings and cold rabbit are mandatory every visit. The sizzling lamb is so good. Staff is professional and kind and helpful. So good.
If Chinese food is what you're here for, this place is a nice surprise. Don't let the drab exterior fool you, lots of Chinese students, and families alike come here for quality food. The 'Ma Po Tofu' is unique, though it's spicy for those who are not used to spicy Chinese food. The Menu has both Chinese and English though specials may not always be fully translated.
Two really popular dishes would be the 'Ma Po Tofu', and the 'Pork Shoulder' (tenderly cooked until it practically falls off the bone). the 'Dan Dan Mian', a peanut sauce noodle dish might be worth a shot too if you've never tried it before. The Menu consists of different kinds of Chinese food, ranging from Cantonese, Szechuan, and Northern.
Definitely go with at least 2 other friends, so you can try more dishes.
The food here is always a favorite for my family here in STL for Chinese food. The place is not as crowded, but the quality and pricing is just as good as any other location. The servers are more attentive and accommodating than other locations. A definite place to try!
It's okay. I've had some dishes that were quite good, while others are entirely forgettable. Still, worth a try if you're a Chinese food fan.
One of my favorite authentic Chinese restaurants. Food always good and consistent.
Great! I like Potato, eggplant and green pepper
