My wife and I used Patty Long to cater our wedding. I can't recommend them enough, if you are searching for a catering place for your next event do yourself a favor and stop reading reviews and book Patty Long now. They were extremely professional, they were fast, organized, and excellent communicators. And they have the ability to customize every aspect of your catering needs so if you need something unique in regards to food or desert or cocktail hours or linens or even table placements and setup and tear down they can make it happen. Specifically we worked with Ken and he's a seasoned pro in this industry you will be in great hands. Also you get what you pay for, and they were worth every penny. Our wedding went extremely smoothly thanks to them and everyone raved about the food after.
We just had the best day of our lives, and the staff at the Abbey had a lot to do with that. The experience working with them was overall, really great. The staff was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable. The venue was SPECTACULAR, and many other vendors in the area are familiar with the Abbey, and love working with them. We had many odd requests (wedding pinata, certain type of buns, etc) and they skillfully accommodated them. We originally planned to use the courtyard for a cocktail hour, and when the weather turned too cold, Candace at the Abbey had a beautiful back up plan ready to go. Candace did a great job running the evening, and was very reliable (which means everything to a bride).
The food was delicious, we heard nothing but great things (sadly I didn't have time to eat), the space was comfortable and gorgeous. I highly recommend.
Jaimie was incredible! We used them for our wedding and the food was so delicious. The staff was beyond friendly and anticipated us needing water right before the ceremony. I could not have asked for a better vendor!
Patty Long catered our wedding at O'Day Lodge in O'Fallon in May 2022. We had the pleasure of working with Kenny throughout the wedding planning process. He was kind, dedicated and professional. We decided that we wanted to create and custom menu to reflect our cultural backgrounds, and PLC was more than happy to work with us to create the perfect menu. They were receptive to our feedback and ended up making the most delicious meal we've ever had. It's not everyday that you can say the quality of the food was the same as the quality of service. Despite ever-changing plans due to COVID, PLC remained proactive and accommodating. We had so many compliments from our guests about just how good the food was! PLC made the night go by seamlessly and we couldn't be more thankful for everything they did.
We had a graduation banquet here and it was amazing. Our guests were stunned at how beautiful the space is, and as the planner I was amazed at how friendly, attentive, and accommodating the staff was. We had several last minute requests, and they were able to help us out with everything without batting an eye. Thank you so much to everyone for their hard work that evening. Very elegant. I attended a wedding here and everything went extremely smooth. The ceremony and reception are held in the same room, so they move you to the outdoor garden for drinks while the staff flips the inside to a reception hall. Very well thought out and quickly done.
I was there for a wedding. Food was delicious! The Ninth Street Abbey is a venue that can be utilized many ways. Not allot of decor, what you have for your theme is the decor. Was different than any hall you could rent, was interesting.
We had our ceremony and brunch wedding reception here. Everything turned out perfect and beautiful! The staff was great and our wedding coordinator was helpful and responsive. The food was delicious and Ted Drewes bar for dessert was a hit!
My wife and I had out rehearsal dinner here and it was the best. Great food, great space and they let us do karaoke! Just was the best start to such a great weekend. Thank you to all the staff and everyone who helped make our night one to remember.
