Trueman's Place

Nice lil bar with good food. Our car broke down and we were able to get it into this parking lot and decided to take a dinner break. Note that there are multiple food options in this parking lot but we made a good choice with Truemans. We started with happy hour nachos and they were good. I was excited to learn they had a meatloaf dinner special and that is what I opted for. No gravy on mine. The meatloaf was thick and tasty, the potatoes were amazing. Hubby ordered a hot ham and cheese and enjoyed it. We finished with funnel fries - stress eat much?! lol - and those were SO GOOD! Def splurge on those if you are around here! Service was standard. There were a few employees working the whole area and training an employee as well. Food all arrived very timely. Didn't love that the smoking area is outside tables directly in front of the door and you have to walk through that to get inside.

Excellent customer service. Our waitress was very professional and handled herself in a very appropriate manner. She was pleasantly kind and cared for our table as if it was her only table. Which it was not. The bar was full of people. My friends ordered pizza. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, No chicken. It was very dry. But the service and the company was well worth going.
