Llywelyn's Pub - Saint Louis - Photo album

My favorite pub in the Central West End. It has accouterments of a Welsh pub, such as a stone Celtic cross, and lots of wood that gives it a real warm feeling. The food is good, with pub fare plus distinctive menu items (as does their St. Charles location). Bar seating, dining area, small sidewalk a
Nice large patio out back to get away from the more crowded central west end streetside. Happy hour from 3-6 with a good selection of cheap appetizers. Service wasn't fantastic, but definitely not a deal breaker.
I love their happy hour menu for food and drinks. There are many options to choose from and the $7 burger special on Tuesdays is worth it. As for the server, he was awesome at handling a large group of 15 people. The wait time wasn't too bad. The amount of food you get is quite large and very much w
We stopped here for a light lunch on a Thursday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of draft beer and a full bar. We tried the Welsh Rabit appetizer and if you like bacon and tomatoes with a mild mustard on potato bread, this appetizer really hit the spot! If this r
Service was great! Loved the setting too. My pot roast was so delicious and satisfying. We also ordered tater tots and fried pickles that came with amazing pepper cheese sauce! Mmmm we will be back again
A great, more authentic (I guess) Irish place and menu. They have good quality food. My complaints are that every time I find something that I like, they change the menu and take it off. Keep some of the stuff that I'm sure sells well. And the prices are way high for a Pub.
Man, the food is really good here. You never have to wait for a table and the environment is kid friendly. Our favorites are the wings and the spinach artichoke dip!!! They also have great Irish food like Reubens and fish and chips
We are frequent visitors of this location. Parking in the CWE can be difficult, but there are always spots available along McPherson Ave. This location has 2 entrances - the front door and a side gate to the back patio. Once inside, seat yourself at any table in the bar or dining room. If you're hea
In the CWE, it's not a given that every bar/restaurant will have happy hour specials that are worth checking out. Bucking this trend is the perpetually hard-to-spell Llywelyn's, which sports both standard and late-night happy hours, in addition to the daily specials. Now, good prices are only enou
Had the stew bread bowl. Stew was excellent! The bread, meh. Doughy white 'wonder' type bread. Something heartier would have been nicer. Also, too much bread to stew ratio, which was a shame since the stew was so amazing. They had a unique local whiskey that was very good too. Will be bac
My son has been a patient in the ICU @ Barnes for going on 3+ weeks. I needed a break & was tired of hospital food, decided to venture out for a good simple meal. Being a single middle aged woman I didn't think twice about walking into this pub. The decor was inviting, lots of wood with an "old engl
Great location, fast service, nice atmosphere! Good beer selection and full bar. Had fish and chips and would highly recommend! Would highly recommend this place and plan to visit again
