Great wine bar for a litany of reasons:
1. Incredible fresh food. Seriously every dish we had was amazing.
2. Friendly down to earth owner who knows her wines.
3. Ambiance...inside or outside on the patio it’s great.
4. Wine selection diverse and delicious.
We pass this place all the time and I'm so glad we finally stopped in. The owner is really knowledgeable about wine and had great recommendations. Everything on the wine list is also very affordable. The food was amazing and dessert was delicious. We will be going back here often!
In addition to a nice selection of American, Italian, and Argentine wines, there is a great range of Croatian, Macedonian, Slovenian and Montenegrin wines - not just uncommon, but very good. There are small plates to go with the wine - enough for a light supper, certainly. The owner is extremely hospitable and happy to tell you about all of her offerings. This place is off the beaten path, but on a major street with good parking whenever I have been there.
Had a really solid experience here! Came in from out of town & was having an awful day, so I stopped in for a nightcap once I got settled and unpacked. Incredibly relaxing vibe, great hospitality, and equally impressive selections and recommendations on wines. If you're looking to relax in a peaceful & intimate atmosphere, this is 100% a place you should check out!

We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the delicious food, and the various wines from the Balkan region. Between a lovely patio ambiance, soothing music and yummy food and drinks, it was a wonderful experience. The owner is very hospitable and knowledgeable about the various wines.
Highly recommended!
Have driven by several times and decided to stop in with 2 couples on a Saturday night.
Vibe: immediately warm and inviting. Place was bustling but not crowded. Service was busy yet attentive, we asked questions and took every recommendation.
Drinks: we ordered 7 of their signature cocktails from the fall menu and passed them around - all delicious. The Nutty Irishman was a pleasant surprise. Fall apple caramel sangria tasted like pie. Smoked Manhattan used mesquite, which was a bit strong for the cocktail IMHO. Owner also suggested a couple liqueurs and aperitifs, both delicious, especially the macadamia nut despite it's gasohol nose.
We were all delighted by this hidden gem wine bar on S Kingshighway, ended up staying until near closing. Great conversation with the owner, it's been open 9 years. They have a small but charming wrap-around patio, will check it out in warmer weather.
Will definitely be back and try the food and enjoy the patio.

A wonderful experience with excellent food and friendly service. Unique authentic cultural food and creative cocktails. Try something different - you will be amazed.
The outdoor patio is a great place for a glass of wine and delicious flat bread. Very peaceful environment. Highly recommended
We were here for a private event, but the food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding. Don't be fooled by the initial appearance, once you're inside you'll be amazed at the interior. Also make sure to enjoy the back courtyard on those perfect evenings.
Great ambience! The decorations are perfect t to set the mood for wine tasting. We had a bottle of Bellamico Moscato, a sweet white white (6%). To soak it up we ordered Hummus, Savory Goodness Bread, and Malbec Barbeque Chicken Flatbread. I will be back again.
LOVE this place! Interesting Eastern European wine selection and yummy food pairings on a lovely patio. Diana is an amazing host who makes you feel at home right away. On my birthday she surprised me with a tasty tiramisu on the house. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent service, very cute atmosphere. It’s laid back but great selection of food and drink. Bonus is outside patio is adorable!! Highly recommend.
