Awesome pizza at a small place on Delmar. I was staying about 10 minutes away and didn’t want typical St. Louis style trash pizza so I am glad I found this gem. I will definitely have to go back when in the area. Guy behind the counter was super nice and made sure I had everything that I needed and then some.

The perfect little NY style pizza place here in St. Louis. The pizza is absolutely fantastic. It's about a 40 min drive from our house, so we don't get to come often, but it's a real treat when we get to. The crust is perfected NY style, crisp outside yet soft inside like a French baguette. The sauce just has a freshness to it like nothing else I've had. Same with the mozzarella. It's like someone is next door making up fresh cheese for each day. You can just tell they care about their craft. It's so abundantly clear in the product produced.

Love this place. It's the best pizza I've had since moving away from Connecticut 25 years ago. It's no wonder they sell out some nights. That said, I came here to offer some constructive criticism about their salads. I still do not get why they give you like whole leaves of lettuce rather than cutting the lettuce. Do they expect me to eat my salad with a knife as well as a fork? Do they expect me to fold it origami style so it will fit in my mouth? Would they like to cut the lettuce that goes in their salad, but they simply don't have a knife in the kitchen? Or are they simply trying to discourage customers from ordering their otherwise yummy salads, particularly since the pizza is so good? Some people like salads with their pizza, sue me. I don't quite understand this position on not cutting the lettuce. The homemade salad dressing is actually really good.

This pizza is so good, it doesn't need toppings or pepper flakes or extra cheese. It's so perfect. This is my favorite spot in town. If you love NY style, I highly recommend checking it out. This satisfies that NYC craving between trips. It's best to call in your order, but do so early bc they do run out if you wait too long to order. They also sell pizza by the slice which is great for a quick lunch. Freaking delicious.

We stopped at La Pizza on a whim while driving home; we we very pleased with the outcome! The Deluxe Meat pizza was delicious and not like the ordinary fare at pizza chains. The Stromboli and cheese calzone were excellent! The price seems a bit higher than other chains but the food quality and uniqueness is worth the cost. We will return!

My husband and I moved to St Louis from NYC a year ago (after 10 years there for me, his whole life in NY state for him!), and this is the first “New York style” pizza we’ve had here that actually tastes like a NY slice. THANK YOU LA PIZZA! Only complaint is that we wish you had oregano to put on the slices and also Snapple iced tea!

Being from the Syracuse, NY area, I can say this is the best NY style pizza in the St. Louis area. It’s even better than some NY style pizza within NY. I highly recommend getting sausage on your pizza, as they prep it differently than anywhere I’ve been before. Not clumps, but long, thin slices. Perfect grease ration everytime! And what’s NY style pizza without the grease puddles?

We found this place yesterday it's a small place but the pizza is amazing it's just like New York style we had 3 slices and we just had to bring one home it was so good the service is excellent the place is nice small but friendly enjoyed it can't wait to go back to get another Pizza

Fantastic pizza! Edgar and the rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. He's from NYC, been here over 20+ years and still has the accent. Great people and great food. We got the Roberto pizza, which was awesome but Edgar said the stromboli is even better. Will be back!

I had an issue that I commented on a few weeks ago, la pizza responded and addressed the issues head on. Thank you for the quick response and for acknowledging the issues I had. Went back and got pizza for my staff and they loved it. One of the better pies I've had in STL!

Well I can't even give a review bc apparently this is a pizza place that can "run out" of food at 630pm!! I literally thought I was being punked! So they close at 830 but run out at 630 and they're just a pizza place. How can this even be a business?? I'm thoroughly irritated bc we made special trip to try the pizza! And tje guy laughed the whole time on the phone saying "it happens" while giggling!! No it doesnt!!

Best NY style pizza in town and a ways beyond. Obviously, crust is a key and La Pizza's is perfect...and perfectly foldable. However, the cheese is what sets their pizza apart. It has a fresh taste and they include just the right amount.
While the place itself isn't fancy, it's perfect if you're looking to grab a slice. Their garden salad is worth a try as well.

I grew up on NY Style pizza, as a kid on Long Island and later when I moved to Florida. It's hard to find a good pie in St. Louis, but La Pizza is a favorite! Super friendly proprietor, feels like a guy from the neighbahood! If you know good NY pizza you'll love it! There's no provel in this joint! Mangia! Mangia!
