La Vallesana - Saint Louis - Photo album

Delicious food at a great price. The atmosphere was amazing with the live music going on next door. There was plenty of outdoor seating when we arrived. We came here for a quick lunch snack and weren’t disappointed. Great little area to walk around as well and checkout the nearby shops and bakeries.
GREAT FOOD, DRUNK CUSTOMERS! This is not the restaurant’s fault of course! We walked in behind some people stumbling in, and they were extremely loud and obnoxious the entire time. The food was delicious and affordable. We ordered at the counter, and our food was brought to us within five minutes. I
La Vallesana is perfectly placed at the intersection on Cherokee Street, with an option for outdoor seating that allows you to take in all that the iconic street has to offer. The portion sizes are beyond sufficient, and options are priced reasonably well too. I'm docking a star because their indoor
Carnitas tacos were very good here. The asada is very mid and full of onions weird. Burrito was big and tasted decent. The aquas frescas are also something I'd recommend here the horchata and the fresa. Overall, it's overpriced and not much service here either. Staff is friendly. Not sure if I'd com
this is the spot i recommend when anyone asks about tacos. street tacos hit every time and the tortas are to die for.
Food first of all is great! I come from a heritage of real Mexican food and this gets close, even though it's the Midwest. Service was great, facility was clean. Only downfall is the surrounding area is a mix of races who I'm assuming all live in this area, whom don't seem to get along. Just and obs
My partner and I wanted to celebrate our short trip to St. Louis with a night out and we stumbled upon this restaurant unexpectedly. It was a welcome surprise! The customer service was so friendly and I felt like they really cared about the quality of the food they were putting out. Waiting in line
I had the cachete, lengua, and cabeza tacos, they were very solid choices - I would’ve preferred them as more of a street taco style with just cilantro and onions, but they were very tasty. As a 200lb man, that wasn’t enough food, I’m probably going to have the torta next time because of the larger
Wow!! I have found my people! Best authentic Mexican food I’ve found to date. Great place off of Cherokee street. We ordered the fish tacos, a chicken (pollo)burrito, and some street beef tacos, and even some chicken tenders with fries for the children. Everyone was happy with their bellies full.
The food was excellent, we had the tamales and torta, they were really delicious:)
Tasty food, with great prices. I miss the good Ole prices. Didn't get the burrito but they looked good. They also have menudo, which looked awesome. I would go back. The green and orange Salas were killer too so try those if you want some heat. Could be a little cleaner and service a tad better bu
Very good food and ice cream. Reasonable prices. They don't do table service. My daughter and I found it a very pleasant restaurant.
We were trying to go to the Tacos and Ice cream joint down the street…which says its open til 8 on google…we arrived at about 6:45, parked, walked up and found out they were closed (luckily for us). Our disappointment turned into enthusiasm when we saw La Vallesana basically across the street. When
Good food and good outdoor dining make this place. There is a great covered outdoor dining area up front and a back patio with street views and a great kiosk out back. BUT its popularity is its undoing, as it often takes a long time to have your order taken and to get your food (they need more waits
Absolutely love this place. Lunch date with my sis. Had a great time. Atmosphere always nice, even on Cinco de Mayo. Food is always good. They gave us the wrong chicken instead of hot wings they got us our wings quick. Awesome customer service. Drinks, omg the drinks were so bomb. Get it in a pine
This place is counter service, not table service. They have great outdoor seating and a fun bar (a little pricey on margaritas) Food is pretty good too.
Grabbed a quick bite from this authentic Mexican restaurant. The Al pastor taco are amazingly delicious! They have grilled pineapples in it, which is my favorite! They take the liberty to pile on the protein. Super affordable tacos for $2.50 each.
