Very good food and ice cream. Reasonable prices. They don't do table service. My daughter and I found it a very pleasant restaurant.

La Vallesana is perfectly placed at the intersection on Cherokee Street, with an option for outdoor seating that allows you to take in all that the iconic street has to offer. The portion sizes are beyond sufficient, and options are priced reasonably well too. I'm docking a star because their indoor seating layout feels slightly claustrophobic.

this is the spot i recommend when anyone asks about tacos. street tacos hit every time and the tortas are to die for.

Delicious food at a great price. The atmosphere was amazing with the live music going on next door. There was plenty of outdoor seating when we arrived. We came here for a quick lunch snack and weren’t disappointed. Great little area to walk around as well and checkout the nearby shops and bakeries. Before you leave, get a paleta!

GREAT FOOD, DRUNK CUSTOMERS! This is not the restaurant’s fault of course! We walked in behind some people stumbling in, and they were extremely loud and obnoxious the entire time. The food was delicious and affordable. We ordered at the counter, and our food was brought to us within five minutes. I hate that the other customers leveled our experience, otherwise I would have happily given La Vallesana 5 stars!

Carnitas tacos were very good here. The asada is very mid and full of onions weird. Burrito was big and tasted decent. The aquas frescas are also something I'd recommend here the horchata and the fresa. Overall, it's overpriced and not much service here either. Staff is friendly. Not sure if I'd come back

I had the cachete, lengua, and cabeza tacos, they were very solid choices - I would’ve preferred them as more of a street taco style with just cilantro and onions, but they were very tasty. As a 200lb man, that wasn’t enough food, I’m probably going to have the torta next time because of the larger portions. My michelada though was the best I’ve had in St Louis so far and would be worth returning back for.
Their customer service was excellent and their ordering system was very quick and people were getting their food fast. Overall, I would highly recommend !

Food first of all is great! I come from a heritage of real Mexican food and this gets close, even though it's the Midwest. Service was great, facility was clean. Only downfall is the surrounding area is a mix of races who I'm assuming all live in this area, whom don't seem to get along. Just and observation from an outsider. Rid the place of crime and or relocate. Either way I still rated it high cause we're used to these situations.

This place is counter service, not table service. They have great outdoor seating and a fun bar (a little pricey on margaritas)
Food is pretty good too.
