Al-tarboush - Saint Louis - Photo album

Honestly it’s “just like it is.” Authentic and delicious. My friend and I were visiting STL and stopped here for lunch. If I lived locally I would visit this place weekly. We ordered four different items. Everything we had was on point, and the sweetest old gentlemen served us. Would highly recommen
The food and service are always top notch. Sad that this was likely my last time before they close. I wish them well and appreciate all the meals I was able to have at this sweet little deli.
Amazing Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Tabouli. Grape leaves are fabulous as are falafel. A treat for vegans and non-vegans alike -- plenty of meat dishes as well. After you've had their baba and hummus, the supermarket stuff just won't taste right -- because it's not! Thank you Al-Tarboush.
My sister and I really enjoyed our lunch here!We had been looking forward to getting gyros for some time and we got some tasty ones today. Sam, the proprietor, was welcoming and gracious. We arrived at a good time and dined in. It was simple - only two tables - yet open and intimate at the same time
I knew the moment I walked past this place it would be delicious. I was right! We ordered takeout just before the shop closed on a Thursday night and the guy waited for us. The food was in a little toaster oven when I arrived so it was fresh! We ordered the falafel plate, fries, and chicken Shawarma
I just knew when I walked in here that the food was going to be 🔥🔥🔥. Authentic place that appears to be true to their native roots. My chicken gyro was so good, better than any others I've had in the area. I will be back to try other items on the menu.
Went here Today wow I was definitely not impressed cause I felt the prices were lets just say high for Hummus and Dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) 🙄 like $20 but let me tell you babay when I say these were FRESH FRESH FRESH NEVER BEEN IN A CAN Dolmas,🥰🥰🥰🥰I was so impressed the ingredients were beyond f
The falafel and hummus are fantastic. I'm often asked to keep bringing their food to my family events. The family who runs the deli is very kind. Just to reinforce, they make by far the best hummus I've ever had. Grocery store hummus doesn't even come close.
Best baklava I’ve had in a really long time. The salad and shawarma were really good too.
Good god, I miss this place. I used to go there at least once a week when I lived in St. Louis over ten years ago. It makes me happy to see that it's still going strong and has been for at least 20 years. At the time I used to go, it was a father and his two lovely daughters running it. I commented
Nice hidden gem in the loop. Food is excellent!
We're from out of town, saw this place recommended on Reddit and absolutely loved it. The falafel was wonderful, and the chicken shwarma had my brother licking his plate. If we were locals I could see this place being a weekly visit. The owner was so great, too. Spoke with her for a few minutes, she
I'm in town for a bit and was so happy to see Al-Tarboush surviving the pandemic. I used to get falafel and rose water here regularly back in the day. Please support this wonderful deli. Great place for lunch or a quick dinner. Love them so much!!!!!
I'm always down for falafels and this place is my favorite in STL. Their prices for the portions you get are awesome and not to mention all great quality, authentic food. I'd always prefer to go here over and other mediterranean/lebanese joint in the loop. The family that runs the store is always so
I love this place more than I can describe with words. This is your new spot for shawarma, falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves. What else is there to say? The food is mind blowingly good!
