Not being from anywhere near here, the vibes in The Foundry are super cool! It was actually a ton of fun going here! It’s kind of a mall but has outdoor and indoor shopping and it’s inside an awesome industrial building! So cool!
The food is AMAZING!! I LOVE the blend between Asian and Mexican cuisine! We’ve never had Asian tacos before, and I’ve never had jackfruit before (being vegetarian), but these were amazing!! I actually enjoyed both vegetarian taco types we tried, but I loved the tofu ones the best!! Mmmm 🤤
Oh yeah, and the homemade salsa with chips is a MUST!!! Sooooo goood!!
My husband had the chicken teriyaki taco, sweet and spicy chicken taco, and beef short tip tacos… and said they were all delicious too (but his favorite was the chicken teriyaki taco).
Note: the pricing is STEEP (but not being from STL I feel it might be similar to food in the area). It’s $4.50 per taco, and $12 and change for 2 of the beef tip tacos (and the tacos are very small… Street style tacos of course). BUT, would I eat here again? IN A HEARTBEAT!!!
So come and enjoy this place!! It’s delicious!!

Listen, if you don't do anything else in life you need to try out the food here. I attached a photo for reference. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken rice bowl with the crab ragoon (comes with sweet and spicy sauce). It was so delicious, so flavorful, and so filling. I will for sure be returning with my appetite.

Love it every time. The flavor is always great. They are always nice and fast. Can't wait to try another dish. I get the teriyaki chicken with jasmine rice topped with an egg. There's always fresh greens blend under the rice.

Food definitely didn’t disappoint! Of course I had to get tacos from the taco shack and BY FAR the roasted sweet potato taco was the best! They sweet potatoes had great flavor and cooked perfectly! Unfortunately they were out of sweet and spicy pork so I got the chicken instead and while very good there was absolutely NO SPICE! It was all sweet but I wasn’t mad at it just want better next time. The rice bowl was nice…pretty much pick the protein and tell them how you want it. The kimchi was a bit of an after thought. Feel like they need to do a bit better with that.
Also, had the dessert chips and they were delicious! Tastes like they use more of a pita like chip because they were sooo addicting!

My meal was delicious! I got the protein box with sweet and spicy chicken. I’m visiting the area and glad I chose to eat here! I only took off one star for service because the person taking my order just seemed like they were annoyed that I was not ordering fast enough or something?
Overall a really good meal and place to try!

Got two tacos from here on the food hall tour.
The tacos were good but nothing too crazy. I think it was because it tasted only like the seasoned meats on the shell.
I recommend the sweet and sour chicken taco and would say to skip the teriyaki chicken taco.
The tacos need a topping of some sort.

Food is fantastic. However the lady taking the orders could use some work. Instead of being on your phone maybe great the customer and learn how to ask questions, like: Is this for here or to go instead of saying, Well you didn't tell me it was to go or I assume you wanted this instead of asking. If bare minimum was a requirement I can see why she got the job. However the lady that brought my food out was wonderful.

Always wanted to try this place and I am glad I did! Not sure if they opened up or just moved, but I’m glad to see them in the City Foundry food hall.
They were only serving tacos when I went and some sides, but they were delicious. We got the sweet and spicy pork, but it was heavily leaning toward the sweet. However the Asian salad / vegetable on top really add a nice flavor to the overall taco.
I think it’s better than Seoul Taco and would love to try their place again. The taco prices were a bit pricey ..$4.5 for one with two taco minimum and I think the beef was 11$? For two.

Food was a little on the pricey side, however, it was so tasty. My bf is very picky so I knew it was worth it being that he liked it . The beef tacos was great. You get two of them they were $16. Would highly advise going a little earlier as they do run out of food due to it being worth the cost.

Had the sweet potato and sweet and spicy pork. Both were very good, I'd probably just do sweet potato but they only sell them in sets of 2. I paid $26 for 3 tacos and a 16oz boba tea, plus tip. I feel like that's pretty pricy for just one meal, but it was definitely tasty.

We all loved our food. It had excellent flavor. We got the short rib burrito, chicken teriyaki grilled burrito and a sweet and sour protein bowl. Would eat again and highly recommend.

I love Kalbi Taco Shack! Their Korean BBQ inspired take on classic Mexican dishes like burritos and tacos makes for a highly enjoyable fusion. The menu is incredibly flexible, so you should be able to find some combination of flavors that fit your palate. Their service is great and they get food out to you quickly even during high traffic days. If you like jack fruit, you need to try their jack fruit tacos!

Awesome food. The sauce they use is like nothing I have tasted yet in the BEST possible way. The staff is all very friendly, the guys typically walk my food out to my table which I always appreciate! The one thing I could say is the speed during peak lunch and dinner hours are not always the fastest but it is definitely worth the wait!

Come have the tacos, maybe the burritos, or even the quesadilla... Everything is delicious! A great blend of Korean & Mexican flavors. Kalbi has the longest line of all the restaurants every time I go here! This really says something. Their food is amazing!

Best for in foundry. People are loving and nice like family and know how to feed my heart. When I come to Kalbi s I get a great experience every time. The employees are nice and very helpful and make sure that my allergies get taken care of. Make sure that there's nothing in my food. I would not want to eat or could not eat. Overall, I think this is a very humble and nice and generous place and I will be visiting again and I love this experience that I have and most definitely will be back.
