The Wood Shack Soulard - Saint Louis - Photo album

Great music, food and service in an unsuspecting little shack in the corner in the Soulard neighborhood. They even have vegetarian options of the menu. The vegan wrap was everything. On the contrary I do not recommend the mac and cheese. The flavor is bland and the sauce was watery. It was more l
I showed up here on a Sunday evening and was immediately greeted by the owner, Steve. He has a nice laid back and inviting vibe to him that will make you feel welcomed. I sat out on their dog friendly patio which was filled with plants and very nicely shaded. The server brought over water for my d
Food is fantastic and the new location is very cute. Highly recommend the Delgado. Giant shrimp (not the tiny breaded ones you usually get), amazing sauce and the bread is perfect. Also got the poutine tater tots with hugs chunks of melty chese and a delicious au jus. Patio is very nice and pip real
Me and my bestie went here on a whim wanting to try something new . Food is top notch definitely recommend the steak salad or the gobagool sandwich. The drinks are so good !!! And celeise the bar manager is so sweet! She gave us great recommendations and she made our drinks perfectly! Fav new bar !
I can safely say, if you like a good sandwich with delicious smoked meats, this is the place for you. The staff was very nice. Loved the decor, and the music selection was on point! Also, the music was not too loud to enjoy conversation at the table.
We came in on a Sunday night. It was a large group and they served us right away. I had their blackberry mojito and it was delicious. Food was also good, at first glance the sandwich looked small, but I didn’t even finish it! Packed a lot of great taste, and will definitely come back to check out th
I can not stop talking about, The Wood Shack! This place has most the amazing foods, they really put their foot in it! The owner is the essence of the place he showed us how much he cares about his customer's happiness and the sweet server didn't make us wait for anything and was always at arms reac
Robust, but balanced. Familiar yet inspired. Ive been eating eating and ordering from woodshack for years now and it has yet to dissapoint me. The primer with extra bone marrow aioli and the pastrami reuben are my favorite orders. Edit: new location, same great food, with some additions too. The t
In STL for business and was looking for a good local spot to grab lunch and stopped in here. Fantastic food, friendly bubbly service that made me feel welcomed and fair prices. I got the pressed French dip and Cajun style fries and it was amazing. I definitely will be back by this hidden gem! 10/10
What a great place! Food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I heard they were moving to a bigger spot soon, and it sounds like a really cool spot. I can't wait to go back and get the Soulard Primer again.
Loving the new location. Did the inside bar and ran into some local friends. Bartender Rea knows her stuff. Good drinks, fast service. Michael was bringing food from the kitchen nonstop. My chili rubbed wings were perfect. My friend's pastrami Reuben was sensational and his wife's shrimp dish smelle
Food was insanely good! Service was spot on. Lots of great suggestions from the staff. First time here but will definitely be back.
Love this place! I am quite a wing foodie and these are the best wings I have ever had. Have to try the Pork Steaks…….. Awesome. Their patio is wonderful and so comfortable. You will not get any bad food here.
I order the philly cheesecake and the cajun fries with cheese. The fires were to die for! So good nice fresh crispy and flavorful, the cheese wasn’t the best tasting the fires are best ate alone. The sandwich was good but it had that cheese (from the fries) on top and didn’t make it taste the best.
If you’re looking for a great option for local food, look no further. We stopped in for lunch and we’re blown away! Staff was quick and friendly, gave great suggestions and we had our food in no time.
Hubby & I had the 3 little pigs & the primer and split both half and half, the potato salad & the street corn. Everything was so good, the corn was super spicy which isn’t my cup of tea but was still DELICIOUS! Everytime we are in town we make a trip to this gem always so good. Service was awesome.
Great sandwiches, friendly staff, neat outdoor seating. This place has a very cool vibe. We live a good distance away and we'll come back if we're in the area. No parking, but that comes with the Soulard area.
Got the birria tacos and mule kick. Both were delicious. So was the street corn. Waitress was super nice and food came out fast. Awesome sunday morning.
