We had brunch here today and it was simply incredible. Everything was deliciously wonderful. My wife doesn't drink and was thrilled about the speciality non alcoholic coffee drinks (as was I) The cold fashioned and cold brew and tonic were much better than we expected. The poutine was outstanding along with my side of a fried chicken biscuit. It might have been the best fried chicken I've ever had. Her meal was salmon cakes and eggs Benedict which she loved as much as I loved mine. Highly recommend this spot!

We met friends for an incredible lunch. Our friends were delayed, so we started with fantastic house-made cocktails while we waited. Austin, our server/bartender, was pleasant and understanding. For lunch, we had grilled chicken sandwiches, farmhouse burgers, and the salmon cake sandwich. All were perfect, and we devoured them. The child in our group had the macaroni & cheese and liked it. A couple of our friends are gluten-free and didn't have any issues with the menu. Flatbreads and buns were available for them, and the restaurant was very accommodating of food needs. It's a small place, and "cozy", but our group of 7 wasn't rushed along at any point. Would like to go back another time when we're visiting.

BEST BREAD PUDDING! Our whole dining experience was awesome and we find there is no better way to end a meal than with a great dessert for cleansing the palate. The place was hopping on a Thursday night but we were able to get seated right away just before 6pm. Bethany was our server and she was knowledgeable with the menu and very attentive throughout the meal. I started with an Old Fashioned but they have a really wonderful cocktail list to choose from. We then ordered a few appetizers. The Risotto Balls with braised short ribs were over the top tasty. We then tried the flash-fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce also a hit. We ended with the salmon cakes which were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside served with a remoulade you could dip the cakes in to. Still hungry we split the plant-based Car 'Nay" Asada Tacos that were served with charred poblano and avocado crema and they were awesome. What a great way to eat healthy. This motivated us to try the bread pudding which is the best I have ever had. Parts of the bread pudding were crispy and parts were soft served along a scoop of Ices Plain and Fancy Vanilla ice cream. We loved everything we ordered but DO NOT pass on the bread pudding!

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had with food. The Mac and cheese is to die for and the garlic fries are also amazing. I had the farmhouse burger, which was fantastic and the gnocchi, which was the best I had ever had in my life. Staff was friendly and we were seated and served quickly despite the busyness of the restaurant.

Everything was delicious! Our server was great. Excited to go back. I order the prime steak that came with brussels sprouts which were delicious and crispy and the pineapple daiquiri.

Father’s Day dinner was delicious and fun at this CWE darling pub.We ordered the Parmesan Garlic Fries as an appetizer. Watch out because the fries are habit forming. They come with ketchup and parmesan aioli on the side. I ordered the Classic Burger cooked medium and it was served medium. Thank you Chef! The burger had an excellent char to it which I like but I don’t get at most restaurants. Our server, Maya, was excellent. I always asked the server for recommendations when it’s my first time eating at the restaurant. My daughter ordered the strip steak which was also excellent and my son also ordered the classic burger. They have several tables around the bar, which is where we sat, and a separate dining room in the back. There’s a fun energy vibe happening. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

During my recent visit to St. Louis, I had the pleasure of dining at Retreat Gastropub, and it was truly a fabulous experience. From the expertly crafted cocktails to the delicious food, this establishment left a lasting impression on me. As lovers of mezcal, we were thrilled to discover the Camouflage Garden. This mezcal-based drink was a masterpiece, perfectly balanced and bursting with unique flavors. It has now become our favorite mezcal drink! The feta spread accompanied by the red pepper jelly was addictive. The brussels sprouts were another standout dish. Cooked to perfection, they had a delightful char and were seasoned just right. I highly recommend Retreat Gastropub, whether you're looking for a casual meal or a place to indulge in fantastic food and cocktails, Retreat Gastropub delivers on all fronts.

We ordered the parm fries, burger, and ice cream. The fries were great, the ketchup that came with them was not. Very odd flavor but the fries were good enough to eat alone. The burger had a delicious sauce on it but was over cooked and dry. The ice cream was very flavourful and worth trying

The food by Chef Drake Cleeton is so good! The flavors explode in your mouth! The Shrimp and Grits are the flavor you expect off the streets of New Orleans! The potato and leek soup is my favorite. I wish I could order it by the bucket!

This place is great for happy hour! Discounted drinks and food that tasted amazing! The Risotto balls are definitely a must, cheesy and fried to golden perfection. The feta dip was a wonderful blend of savory and sweet. It was served with very crisp bread, while I prefer a softer bread for dips but it was still good.

Went for happy hour and experienced great food, service, and atmosphere! The waitress was super knowledgeable about the drink menu, which ensured I ended up with two drinks I really liked. I will definitely add this spot to my happy hour rotation!
