Vin De Set

This is a great date night restaurant. Romantic music, cool breeze on the rooftop and amazing food. Took my wife who loved the vibe. This was our first time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Vegetarian and vegan friendly dinner options.

Vin De Set is just lovely! Cozy, vibrant, and ambient, it really feels like a slightly hipster French restaurant without being cheesy or cliché. The service was great, the food delicious, and the drinks creative and interesting.

Vin de Set has become my new favorite restaurant. The environment made it warm and relaxing. The music was legitimately perfect and set The mood for its French cuisine. Don’t ever get rid of the music if literally made my meal more delicious 🖤 Our server I wish I remember his name, he has a shaved head and was very tall, he was so incredibly sweet and had a heart of gold. Our water glasses were constantly full and the food was DELICIOUS. The cheese was fresh and yummy and I had the ratatouille and it tasted like a garden of flavor! 🖤. I had the cucumber melon cocktail which was very refreshing. My partner had the filet mignon with green beans and mashed potatoes and I tried some it was so soft tender and full of flavor. My partner also had their whiskey and it was so smooth and delicious. From the food, service and environment this place is excellent. Your service made my birthday very special thank you! UPDATE: We went for our anniversary and again service was 5 stars, the host asked if we were celebrating tonight and offered to take our photo. We sat down and noticed the menu had changed I really wanted their ratatouille again but it was swapped for the Eggplant Napoleon and I was not disappointed, the There was that acid from the Tomato pistou with the creaminess of the goat cheese that made it delicious with the eggplant. My partner got the beef and it was cooked to perfection. He said it was tender and full of flavor. I really enjoy the music they play, it’s light combo of French / jazz it creates a nice ambience. This is the place I will keep going to for special occasions.

The atmosphere was great and we ate on the rooftop even though it was hot it was worth it. Photo opportunity as you can see is good with the arch in the background. The food was very good however my significant other’s ribeye came out over cooked. Even though she tried to eat it I convinced her into saying something. Management was very professional and brought out an entirely different ribeye. No questions were asked even though some of the rib-eye was consumed. Thank you management for taking care of us and giving us an awesome experience.

What a fun and tasty experience! I am not a local, I'm visiting my son who lives in St Louis. Food was great, service was outstanding, and the view was awesome! Will definitely be back during my next visit!
