I can't say enough good things about Bogart's Smokehouse! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of smoked meats fills the air, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The brisket practically melts in your mouth, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor and cooked
This BBQ place is a must do. I got the ribs and the burnt ends. The ribs need no sauce and are perfect as is. I'd never tried burnt ends and they were awesome. All of the folks there were friendly and the service was top notch and you could tell they truly care. The restaurant is in a beautiful
When visiting St Louis this place was highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Best ribs I have ever had and my wife agreed. The tri tips, pulled pork, and brisket was great too! Do check hours though, they close at 4 most days.
Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. If you're traveling to St Louis, make sure this is one of your stops! Just make sure to get there early, they sell out!
My husband has been eyeballing this place for years and we finally enjoyed lunch at Bogart's this afternoon. The man who brought us our food (also a cook) told us that we had to try the ribs without sauce first. And thank God we did. They were literally the best ribs we've EVER had. That's accountin
This hidden gem is a MUST DO! It's small in size, but huge and delectable in taste. The babyback ribs are just to die for, always perfectly done. The sides are delicious also. Today we had the baked beans and sweet and sour cole slaw, but the potato salad is also outstanding. It's also across the st
I put in an order at Bogarts online and got the family pack, 2 Full Slabs of Ribs, 2 quart sides of Potato Salad and Baked Beans. I also got a little order of Fire and Ice Pickles, they were solid. I got there right at the time of pick up which was impeccable timing. I waited for about 5 minutes
Best bbq I had in quite same time. I had half-slab and my wife pulled pork. The baby back ribs were close to fall-of-the-bone, right where most people enjoy them most. Very tender, full of smoke flavor, juicy. Sweet glaze on top, but not overpowering. The kind of ribs you eat and at the end you real
So during my visit to St. Louis I went to the Arch and asked different people who were locals where they'd recommend I eat. Some suggested seafood, burgers, and of course ribs. I asked where the best ribs in town were and the first couple seemed too "chainy" and I wanted something local and unique.
This placed lived up to expectations and didn’t disappoint. Price was very reasonable and staff was friendly. Ribs, turkey, pulled pork were excellent. Baked beans were delicious. Slaw was vinegary but that’s how I prefer them. No complaints at all. We were only passing through the area but will def
Top notch ribs, best I've had in St Louis. Great pastrami, which was a nice surprise.
Brisket was good.
For sides... love the vinegar-y slaw and the fire and ice pickles. Beans were a little sweet for my taste.
Fantastic staff, service. and location.
This is food for the soul. Can't wait to come bac
4 stars-In an upscale residential neighborhood (Soulard) that is home to the oldest farmer’s market west of the Mississippi. Homey interior with about a dozen tables. Interestingly, you order at a table just inside the front door and then find a space to wait for your order. Doing a brisk take-out b
There were 3 popular BBQ places that popped up within a few miles of each other and I'm so glad I chose this place. I tried some in KC and wasn't that impressed but it was good nonetheless. Being from Texas, the bar gets set pretty high and St. Louis did not disappoint. In fact, I would say I was bl
Can’t go wrong with the ribs! Was visiting from Chicago and this place did NOT disappoint! Super friendly staff too.
Giving the shoutout to Meg the catering manager. Her professionalism made our lunch-n-learn event with the clients successful. The order was prepped accurate. The food was great. Surely I will return with more business. If you have future event, give Meg a call or email. Way to go Bogart's and
Had a great lunch here! The owner is super friendly and the ribs are to die for. Probably the best I had in St. Louis and I tried almost all top rated places. It's not as fancy as Pappy's - more of a neighborhood BBQ place, but the ribs are a true masterpiece to eat. Would recommend the deviled eggs
Adding from another trip, one of many since the original entry. We still drive from Indy, just to get Bogarts! This trips food and experience was as amazing as every other. Thank you sooo much to the owners and staff for everything!!
The food here was awesome! We were here for belated celebration
The ribs here were the best I’ve ever had, and the baked beans were also delicious. I am so glad I had the chance to stop here!
Don’t Bogart the barbecue son! Pass some this way! That brisket on my sammy looked like it was going to be chewy, but it weren’t! It was perfectly cooked and tasty as heck. That deviled potato salad was devilishly delicious! That sweet & sour slaw was sweetly sourly yummy! Them sauces were all
