Brisket and homemade fries were excellent! This place was well recommended. Next time I'm coming through here, it will be a part of my trip!

This place is fantastic! I had the cheese board which came with smoked summer sausage and a variety of smoked cheeses (the pepper jack!!!). It was delicious. I was able to bring home half of my meat because the portion was so generous. Yay for me! Service was great too. We will be back. Gotta try that BBQ next time.
My wife and I were driving through the area and was happy to find this for lunch. It was really good BBQ. I feel sometimes people try too hard to reinvent dishes or make it unique, but not here. Its just good old fashioned BBQ done right. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant has a lot of character.
This is the 2nd time my hubby and I stopped here to eat on our way home from Branson. This is a small, down to earth local eatery. Nothing fancy here and so far everything we have gotten has been good. This last trip we got burgers and before we got a combination of meats (brisket, pork, chicken, turkey)with different sides and everything was delicious and visually appealing. If you want fancy tables and accoutrements and dressed up restrooms then go somewhere else; but if you want good food and like drinking your coke from a bottle (they will give you a glass with ice if you want) then this is a great place to stop for a bite.

I eat here when I’m in the area or just get a hankering for their baked goodies. Nobody does no bakes as well as they do. I live over an hour away, but it’s well worth the drive! Try the runts or their river nachos. I just tried a burger and hand cut fries; excellent! You’ve got to try them!!
The bbq there is fantastic. Theres jelly, jams & honey. Syrups, etc all locally made. The shop is recently remodeled and decorated so cute.
