Pomodoro E Mozzarella

Came here for the first time based on Jonathan Rosenthals fb post mentions of this place and was very disappointed. Walked in to order in person and it took 5 mins for someone to acknowledge me, I recognized zero effort to decorate the restaurant, the man came out with food in his mouth and was chewing while taking my order. I ordered, his machine printed a receipt and without saying a word he turned around and went away. I stood there for a couple mins not sure if the transaction was complete and eventually walked outside to wait. I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni ny style. After 15 mins wait I walk in and the pizza is ready, I order two cans of soda and the gentleman said he preferred I paid in cash because it cost him too much money to ring up a card for $2. Even just ordering the sodas was weird, I asked if he could ring me up for two cans and the guy was like “idk can I, or will I?” I got the pizza and I noticed two things. The entire pizza was drenched in grease, and all chese only slices had pepperoni as well keeping in mind that not a lot of pepperoni was used. The attempt to actually make it half only cheese was absent and it was to put it simply it was a very sloppy pizza. The crust tastes good but it is noticeably chewy and not in a good way. I might give this place one more chance but I have more reasons to try other places.
