Chicken Salad Chick

For lunch I had a cup of the extraordinary thick and off the chart delicious potato soup. So very flavorful. I highly recommend it... BUT... I also had the cranberry Kelli chicken salad scoop. It was the very opposite of the soup. Boring. Total lack of imagination and possibilities. A shame after the soup. It's as if a 3 yr old ground up some chicken and threw in a few cranberries with nothing else. Flat. Tasteless. I think you get the idea.

This was my first visit to Chicken Salad Chick! I enjoyed how customers are able to sample the variations of chicken salad before making a final decision. I suppose I still had a difficult time deciding, though--because I ended up going with three full scoops of chicken salad in three different flavors. It was more than enough chicken salad for an entire week all in one feel swoop! The place was nearly empty when we arrived around 4 or 5pm. Cameron was behind the register. He was very courteous and helped me to acclimate and to understand the menu once I told him I was a first-time visitor. I asked him for a menu to take away and he found one without much delay! I'll be back around again sometime! I appreciate the sea of crackers given with my chicken salad. The crackers made eating comfort food like this more fun. I'd like to see this chain make their own quality crackers someday, but I see how the plastic-wrapped coupled crackers would be more cost effective on the whole. It added a bit more salty taste to the dips of chicken salad I chose, which I enjoyed.

The absolute best place for lunch in St Augustine!!! So many varieties of chicken salad you have to go back to try them all. Delicious doesn’t even do this place justice ! I was so impressed and it’s been awhile since I’ve been that impressed.i had a hard time deciding and was able to sample!!! I highly recommend stopping in and trying for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
