Apart from being known as a coffee shop, the Kookaburra has their own tasty baked goods. I highly recommend trying out the Aussie pies, which have their own exquisite filling options available for breakfast and lunch. They are crumbly, flaky, and savory overall.
Being Coffee lovers, finding this local gem was amazing while we were in on vacation. We went everyday, sometimes twice a day. Not only was the coffee or tea amazing, the workers were so warm and friendly! Going to miss this place when we go home!
The coffee here is the best in town. Black the espresso in the americano is a little acidic, but their iced coffee and lattes are on point. The Anzac cookie stole my heart! The baristas serve with great vibes. The shop is modern mcm with just enough seating to keep it cozy.
Great experience overall! Highly recommend! The brekkie pies were delicious, well-balanced, and with a excellent flaky crust (we had corker/sausage and rahsers/bacon). Topping it off, there are a variety of breads, muffins, and scones for someone looking for something sweet to pair with the savory pies. There also veggie options without meat, but they all have eggs. Tried out a pair of Hot Aussies also which were delightful and not overly sweet. Hope to visit again the next time we visit St. Augustine Beach, Florida!
Extremely friendly staff and a simple yet delicious coffee menu. Right by the beach with a tropical vibe. The outside seating area is also super spacious and shaded! I heard the Aussie meat pies are good too! Definitely recommend.
Girl in the window was very outgoing. Took her time to make a perfect coffee. It was worth the mile walk from my hotel!
Best coffee here, we drive down from Jacksonville every weekend just to get a coffee here. Honestly would give it more stars if we could and if you are are wanting vegan food options they have many and they are all so delicious, highly reccomend, well done guys keep up the great work !!!
I was visiting from Traverse City, Michigan and me and my friend went here for a morning eat, after watching an amazing sunset from the Saint Augustine Beach area, and it was a great place to eat. Nice little place.
This place has amazing coffee beverages of all different kinds. But most of all they have Aussie pies, the one I wanted with the spinach was already sold out but I did have the one with the two different kinds of cheeses and bacon and it was fantastic. My coffee was delicious, I got an iced coffee with honey and cream with two shots of espresso and it was fantastic. The only thing I would say is the floors were a little dirty and that's because there is such a long line of people going in and out and trafficking in the dirt. But definitely recommend
Was in town with friends and we visited this shop every morning for coffee and pastries. Some of the best iced coffee I have ever had. and the banana bread was to die for!! I loved this place so much I got some coffee beans to bring home and the coffee was just as delicious at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
