Jr's Cafe Of Saginaw

I was recommended this location by a local pastor as a trusted source for good breakfast. I came here with my wife and we were welcomed with charm and spirit. The people here working are like a big family, and they welcomed you with open arms. I was a huge fan of their cinnamon roll that was very warm and fresh. My wife is a HUGE fan of fried okra, and we didn't see it on the menu, until I noticed someone ordered it. We ordered a side of it, and my wife fell in love with it. We now know the best place for Okra in Texas, and I'm happy to say it's Jr's Cafe of Saginaw. We definitely look forward to returning as one of the employees recommended the country fried chicken here. I'm sorry I couldn't get any pics since we ate all the food so quickly, but I did take a picture of one of their interior decorations, the cutest I've ever seen!

Great service!! All wait staff was awesome!! Food was excellent!! The French Toast melted in my mouth. Wish I could have finished it. Don’t like to waste food. I fully recommend JR’s. It’s your classic town cafe. I also want to thank them for recognizing my military service. A lot of people don’t do it anymore but when they do, I appreciate the establishment even more!!

This is a great little place that's been around for a long time. Good home cooked meals. AND THE PIES... OMGOSH THE PIES!!! The service is great, the food is great! Breakfast is served all day. I had the JRs Famous Scramble with a biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was large and oh so fluffy. I wish I could make biscuits like that. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger was nice and juicy and the fries were thick cut and seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back!
