New covid takeout window, can no longer go inside of the restaurant. That's OK. First time here since covid, and the lady working wasn't very friendly at all, which is unusual for this establishment, as everyone used to be friendly and nice. I typically get the Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Almond Boneless or Pork and Mushrooms combo, which is always a 5 star! Tonight I tried something new with the specialty lemon chicken and fried rice...I'm a lover of anything lemon! But this was nasty. The chicken is plain and comes with unseasoned broccoli and a lemon juice on the side. I wouldn't even call it a sauce as its thin and tastes like watered down concentrated lemon juice from the bottle. Very bitter, not sour, on the palate. I was on time picking up my order with the time they gave, and immediately ate the crab cheese, which was not warm and was full of grease. Prices went up. Ordered two specialty meals and added 2 egg rolls and 2 orders of crab cheese....unfortunately the quality, service and taste was not worth $38. Disappointing. I will give this restaurant another chance once covid is over, as they were once very good.
