My husband and I tried that this restaurant for the very first time we had two appetizers and shrimp cocktail and southern wings. My husband stated that the shrimp was not their specialty, but their chicken wings were excellent highly recommend. The food came out in a timely manner and the waitress was very nice.

Hate to write a bad review, but after a 90 minute wait, the food was flavorless, meatloaf was tough and over cooked, and a half piece of broccoli was served with dinner. Mac n cheese was cold. Redfish super salty.

True southern cuisine. Don’t expect a fancy place, very simple place with a very simple menu. But food was simply delicious. The appetizer wings were excellent, fried to perfection. Meatloaf dinner with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli was truly amazing. BUT, the strawberry shortcake simply opened the gates of heavenly yummy food! Too focused on the food for pictures, we’ll have to sacrifice and repeat this one!

we were meeting friends from out of town and decided to dine at Southern Fresh. Everything was excellent. The service was very good, the food exceptional! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the red fish was delicious and the catfish was awesome. The surprise of the night for me were the collard greens….best side dish on the menu! Stop in, it is a very cool place in Safety Harbor.

Food, drinks and service were great! Sangria wasn't super sweet it was really yummy. I had the salmon with green beans and seasonal vegetables medley. Salmon was cooked perfectly and flavor was delicious. Veggies were delicious. Portion size was good I was full but not overly stuffed. Partner had the meatloaf with collard greens and mashed potatoes. He ate every bite and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. Service was fast, accommodating and friendly.

Kind service; however, limited food choices and slow. We asked to sit outside and instead of cleaning a vacant table we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. Overall the food was good, similar to a home cooked meal. Mac n cheese has a little kick, 2/4 of us liked it, mashed potatoes were good. The highlight was the banana pudding, best I've had in years.

Best collard greens I've ever had. I'm going to buy a gallon of them next time! I thought I hated meatloaf but these guys made me fall in love with it 🤌 The chefs are amazing and really care about their product! Highly recommend

Hidden on a side street but yelling I'm scrumptious! I like my desert first so I ordered a banana pudding and a cocktail. Yes! Don't even think about fast food. This is food made to order. For example, fried chicken is approximately 30 minutes. Ha! Perfect for dessert, conversation, and drinks.
Suggestion: salmon salad mmmmmm
