Jimmy's Deli

My grandmother lived up the street for 1 billion years and we would always go here to eat. I moved out of state and wanted some good soul food went to a couple of places in Sacramento that claim to be a good soul food and need to stop it so I said, let me come to Jimmy’s and of course I was not disappointed.

I go to jimmys everyday pretty much and theyre familyfriendly and make you feel at home. Great food. My favorite is the breakfast all of its great. Also they distribute pokemon cards, preorders on them, have singles for sale to help finish sets, and have all kinds of etb boxes blisters and single booster packs. Some colection boxes have booster packs as far back as the beggining of sword and shield and of course they have scarlet amd violet products. You can eat get drinks and get the kids or yourself pokemon card my favorite shop!!

Come get your soul food! They had a variety of food to choose from. You order at the register and wait for your number to get called. I Had the catfish nuggets platter. It came with two sides. So I chose the mac n cheese and the rice with gravy. The catfish nuggets were tasty. I loved the corn batter on it. The mac n cheese was tasty. The chicken gravy on rice was good. I ordered a piece of fried chicken thigh and it went well with the gravy and rice. The whole meal came with a cornbread muffin. Will be coming back for more!

This place has been here for a minute. It's a little hole in the wall but the food is so good! They have breakfast, lunch and dinner but it's not a sit down restaurant, its a take your food home and enjoy restaurant. The staff are very friendly. You order at the front register, pay and you pick up your order at the back. They will call your number when your order is ready. It's always busy so it's best to call and place your order, if you know what you want. My favorite is the turkey wing dinner. They smother the turkey wing in a sauce over rice. You get two sides and corn bread. Try the peach cobbler its very good. If you go, let me know if you like it or not. Enjoy!

This spot is iconic. This was my first visit and I got the red snapper dinner with some great tasting collard greens and cabbage as my sides and I definitely will be returning! The customer service is stellar. Iit doesn't look like much but that doesn't matter; the food is the bomb. Thank you Jimmy's for a great first experience!!!
