Pasty Shack - Sacramento - Photo album

This was excellent. Super nice people at the counter and the food is excellent excellent excellent don't forget to ask for the gravy. The coleslaw was really good also. They also sell pastries. I most definitely will come back. If you come in a car park in the back.
Cute joint with a lot of history. The pasty is decent size and is perfect for a small lunch or a snack between too people. Flaky exterior with a well filled interior. If you haven't had this place yet, it is worth checking out!
Cornish pasties originate from Cornwall in England, my homeland they are not from here in the USA. I lived in NV 8 years the gold state never saw one. These pasties are not 100 % the same, but they come in very close. I do agree with the person who says the meats abit big and chewy. Meat is a bit dr
I used to go here years ago and loved it but I found the prices of increased a lot which of course everywhere has. The pasties were not as good as I remembered of course I tried one that was non-traditional It was like a Mexican version I think that was a mistake in the future I will stick to the tr
Went in for the pasties, not the atmosphere. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. The pasties were just great.
Awesome spot serving traditional pasty of various kinds. If you don't know how to make them yourself this is a good place to get them. Plan on spending about $10 each or more.
Love this place! First discovered them via a local bar that buys their pasties here for their menu (this bar takes them to a yummy level). I have since gone into Pasty Shack several times and tried different flavors. Love their homemade taste - anytime I am craving a warm pot roast dinner, I stop in
AMAZING!!! For starters we were greated at the door, explained the menu, given history on the "pasty", & history of this locally owned business. The customer service was above and beyond! I was blown away at the customer service, but when the gentleman brought the food the whole experience was put a
For what this place is, it's perfect. It's not fine dining by any stretch. The inside of the place is small, holding only four small tables. The pasties are amazing! The crust is unbelievably light and flakey. The filling is steamy and flavorful. I had a Bavarian pasty, which has ground beef, cabbag
Last minute stop around 20 minutes before closing, ordered 3 different pasties and I am astounded! Very tasty and savory. The last time I have eaten there was in the 1990's. It is nice to see the upgraded menu. Ill ve back!
Accessible to a wheelchair with help with the door. Small area but quaint. Limited selections but the owner offered me a free apple pasty because it was burnt on the underside. It was was quite tasty considering. I love the fact they offer Chile Verde . Will be back. Cost is under $8 each.
Really good but get The gravy with the pie it’s sold separate for some odd reason very tasty but really should come with gravy the pie is good but VERY good with gravy and the chicken is very nice too!!!!!!
Love the pasties here. Very authentic and great with ketchup. I actually think they have improved the recipe for the Bavarian pasty. Love supporting this cute and wonderful local family business. They have parking in the back too!
We have been eating the Pastys here for years and love them. I often had the Chicken and they were good BUT tonight It was Excellent The meat seemed fresher and I loved the new variety of vegetables ,Green Beans,Carrots & Squash and others….I think this my new 1st Choice, My husband had the Mexican
I went there today after searching for a place that serves savory pies and or bakes in Sacramento. I got three pasties and gravy to go. Omg... they are absolutely scrumptious. My favorite was the Bavarian. The have good amounts of filling. If you are a fan of savory stuff this is the place to go. Th
