Walking in you are greeted with smiles and warm hospitality, which goes well with the complimentary Miso tofu soup.
Some reviews say the rice is dry which is welcomed because it adds a balance of texture to the rolls. Just try the rice and you will taste a well balanced of vinegar and sweetness that only comes from a high end mirin or cooking sake.
The rolls hold up and are rolled tight so it will not fall apart even when handled by an inexperienced chopstick user.
The toppings on the Baked rolls are abundant. I like how they lay the rolls flat to top them and not standing up like other sushi places so you can fit more toppings on them.
The people who give bad reviews for this place obviously do not know what they are talking about!
I've been to Japan and tasted authentic sushi, rolls, and even Wasabi and this place is the closest I can find to that same experience.
Great service and tasty food that looked amazing and very well done and affordable. I'd come in with my friends and dine again. I love it. I tried the rainbow sushi role and it was so good and well designed that I took it home with me and just had to take pictures. Big menu but simple food and it was quick. Nice service.
Salt is AMAZING!! Best sushi in Sacramento outside of midtown/downtown. Fish is super fresh, and the cuts are perfect! Great drink menu with a better selection than most sushi restaurants. The decor is top-notch, and the staff is very friendly!
Great food, nice atmosphere, okay service. Overall, I like this place. Nice outdoor seating, basic menu with a variety of special rolls, many deep fried and cooked roll options for people who don't actually eat raw fish. Service was slow but they didnt charge us for drinks. We will definitely go back. Great teriyaki chicken!!
Restaurant was very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The food was above average while prices were not inflated.
Great atmosphere for a family dinner, special night out, or a Tuesday meal.
The sushi chefs are experienced and present a decent selection with their 11 piece chefs choice nigiri.
Great food! Had the potato nest and the spicy aioli was excellent. Tried the pot stickers and edamame, both were also excellent tasting. My 10 yr old had the kids California Roll meal and loved it! I went around 11:30am during the week and was the only one there!
Pretty good sushi, lots of variety and fresh. We had 3 orders of nigiri, 1 maguro, 1 sake, and 1 hamachi. We had their mixed tempura which was 3 times the size of any mixed tempura I've ever had and had several shrimp included. The baked scallop roll was good, we also had a rainbow roll and another specialty roll. We also ordered gyoza, all take-out ordered over the phone. My order was ready in about 20 minutes. Not the best sushi I've ever eaten but very good and big portions. All that food for $74! We will definitely be back.
Close to work, great for lunchtime. Fresh ingredients:-)
We tried the kushiyaki and it was amazing! My first time having it. The corn ( yakitomorokoshi) was full of flavor and sweetness. I'm not sure was sauce they put on but seriously delicious! Pork belly ( butabara) was tender & juicy as well as the scallops. We also ordered the tempura which came out light & crispy. The spicy tuna was nice & fresh. Great interior decor. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be back again!
Great happy hour. Deep fried gyoza off the hook. Blossom Balls good but too spicy for me. Attentive staff. Very polite. And they even gave my service dog a treat
