I always thoroughly enjoy myself here. The Taco Salad with beef is my new favorite. And, if you only have room for one item, you've got to try the Fried Ice Cream dessert. The French Vanilla ice cream wrapped in corn flakes, drizzled with chocolate and honey , placed in a cinnamon tortilla shell surrounded by strawberries was scrumptious!
This is my boss and wifes favorite place i must say i was very pleased with the food and the employees seemed to like their jobs :) i will be back !!!
Nice place to get Mexican food in the part of town. The waitresses were friendly and took our orders quickly while the chefs cooked it fast too.
They brought out chips and two variety of salsa to snack on while deciding on what to eat. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and you could also order from the regular menu too.
The food tasted great so I’ll return here again next time I’m in the area.
Great for the convenience and takeout. Although they have an amazing dining experience as well. Any of the dishes I got I recommend, but the enchiladas and carne asada plates are something much more delicious. They are quick with taking orders and serving them, do consider stopping by to support a local restaurant!
Ive never been here before in my many years growing up in the area, but I sort of regret it! It's a pretty good Mexican sit down restaurant. I got a combo with an enchilada and a burrito and I think they were essentially the same thing lol, but both delicious.
The best part was the bottomless chips and the salsa. The salsa was warm and had a nice roasted flavor to it.
Worth a look if you're looking for a local taqueria.
Ordered Quesadilla and Enchilada with chicken. It tasted good, but chicken stuffing was not grilled , the salad, rice, and beans were yummy. Cooked salsa was amazing than usual raw salsa. Restaurant close to the I 5 route.
Great Mexican food! The salsa is incredible! Definitely going back!
Good Mexican cuisine. Extensive menu selection. Tortilla chips served with two kinds of salsa. Chips and salsa were good. I had Chimichanga and my wife had a Combo plate of Chili relleno and hard shell taco. Erick our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Outdoor and indoor dining. Would return. For a party of four our meal and three beers came to $94 not including tip.
Great little spot in Greenhaven. The staff were so kind and attentive. The food was a bit more pricey than I would’ve liked but it was absolutely delicious. I got the chili verde and my partner got the carnitas tacos. Each plate came with a little side salad and beans and rice. Great. Portion sizes! Can’t wait to come back here.
I was there for takeout food. The restaurant was full yet my food was prepared quite fast. The food was good but not great.
In a word: sleepy. Why? Because the wait staff just might have been out to lunch themselves. It took forever to get our food ordered as on this particular day the restaurant was short of help and the waiter spoke/understood very little english so getting our orders right was a challenge. I will put in a good word for our waiter tho because when I asked him to bring me their hottest salsa they had, he said that the chef made me a special hot salsa made with the habanero peppers and it was indeed hot! Delicious. The food when it came was ok I thought and was on par with other Mexican restaurants in Sacramento. Since this restaurant is in a neighborhood, many local residents frequent this location. I use to live nearby, and walked to the restaurant just for the Shrimp salad.
Stopped in for dinner, and had a great time. The food was excellent! I had a carnitas taco and enchiladas combo. The carnitas were juicy and tender, delicious. The service was spot on and very friendly, and fast! I highly recommended eating here
