River City saloon is located in Old Sacramento, which is a great date spot. It's the last operating Wild West saloon. The feel of the saloon gives you a glimpse of that a true wild west saloon was like in the 1800's. There are a few modern changes from the 1800's. Such as, a gaming area in the back

Great drinking bar during the day and party spot during the night! The staff is really nice here and after you get a few drinks you’re really close to downtown. Old Sacramento is kind of touristy but every once in a while it’s fun for a local like me to go down and have a good time! I highly recomme
Love it always...haven't been in a while but it never changes. Bartenders were great fast and Best Bloody Mary of all...pool table was eh ok needs a little up keeping and music was good for Saturday night. Great atmosphere always.

I'm rarely happy when I order a blody Mary, but the river city saloon has exactly what you hope for in a bloody Mary. So dang good! Our bartender, Ryan was courteous and on point. I'll definitely come back.
It has a restaurant, but the kitchen was closed around 6pm. We were invited to a party there, and the host provided the food for it. The saloon had nice music. It was a pretty calm place!
The staff is stellar, friendly atmosphere , where you can walk in and everyone knows your name after two visits. Ask for Chelsea and she will take care of you like family. I will definitely come back again.
Great staff, everyone's super friendly and lovely to talk to. Drinks are perfect and the bloody Marys they're known for are amazing. Definitely worth stopping by
Sacramento is one of the friendliest towns I have ever visited. And the gals at the River City Saloon was a perfect example of Sacramento hospitality. And yeah, just like the sign says, they're Bloody Mary is pretty darn good.
This is an awesome bar, with a cool old west feel, in old Sacramento. There's a few local beers on tap, and the bartenders know Thier drinks and cocktails! Basic, but good bar food like Onion rings and chicken strips. They also have hand crafted, hot and cold sandwiches which are fantastic.
I enjoyed this spot the atmospjere was real mello. Wasn't too crowded and the bartender was super cool. Would def stop in here again
Great experience! There was a bar fight where two gentlemen dueled each other with pistols. They were courteous to keep us out of the line of fire and the bartender took care of the bodies. Very clean and a fun atmosphere!
