Great, Staff has awesome knowledge of beers on tap, and the Vahalla burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection along with the fries.
My only complaint would be the size of the beer servings and maybe a touch better customer service. But, from a keep it a simple, great place to go in order to taste heaven on earth beers it's really one of the best places I've been. They were pretty well packed on a saturday mid day.

Kenny and his crew KNOW beer and they know how to make people feel at home. I went there on the first night it was opened and was definitely satisfied! Absolutely love having a great beer spot in downtown Sacramento. 40-plus beers on-tap and constantly rotating! Plus, good food! It's going to be a hit in Sacramento.
Very chill, relaxing atmosphere. Several (I think like 40 or more) beers on tap. They have homemade root beer that is amazing!!!! The spinach and artichoke dip with the little slices of bread is really good too!!!!

Our neighborhood pub! BEST Cesar salad in town! We love the staff and they have a dog menu that our pup loves!!!! Super fun for Kings games and like I said BEST Cesar salad and the cheese curds are so yummy!
We held our 30 year high school reunion here. The service was quick and friendly. The food appetizers they brought out were wonderful and they had a great private room for us to gather in as well as a fun patio with games. They have a small free parking lot as well as ample street parking.

We came back after slow service last time (I think the kitchen staff is small) and had a wonderful time! All the food was really good, and the service was better, since we arrived very early before the Music Circus performance. If you're coming on a show night be sure to arrive early... Very early.
My daughter and I were staying at the hotel nextdoor for the CADEM Convention. So glad we found this gem. Roy our bartender was so kind and knowledgeable about the vast selection of beers. My daughter was super excited to get Pliney the Elder. It is hard to come by in Portland. Food was very good too. We watched the Niner game there the next day. I really loved this place and will be back whenever I come to Sacramento.
Great selection of Brews, always changing. Casual atmosphere and friendly service. And if you're one of those people that needs to bring your dog for company, you can do that at Mojo's, too!
The Valhalla burger has just the right amount of heat: spicy , but not so hot that it covers up the flavor. The staff was awesome, friendly, quick, and attentive even though it was really busy. Lots of great beers, too.
Dropped in after a conference at the convention center. Beer selection was great and so was the chili!
Stumbled upon this place and to my surprise it was very good. Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food and beer. Had a half order of their loaded fries and they were great and couldn't help but try the beer too and it was just as good! Would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch. Will definitely be returning!
A lot of beer options and a happy hour with $1 off full pours. The bartender was really nice. My shrimp taco was alright and they had a really spicy and unique sauce to try on it.
Wow! My husband and I are big BBQ fans. We joke about driving to Savannah, GA (from NJ) to pick up food from Wiley’s Championship BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich at Capital Hop Shop is probably the best pulled pork we’ve ever tasted. I wish I could share a picture of it, but it didn’t last long. (The cheese steak was also AWESOME!)

Excellent taproom with 40 selections on tap. This visit featured beers from LA County which were fun and intriguing. Food menu truly complimentary with what's on tap. Hospitality was spot on!
Food menu is heavier, it seems, versus when it was formerly Capitol Hop Shop. The food items are tasty, just heavy. I often grab the Spicy BLAT, Carnitas Tacos, Wings, or Cheesesteak.
Diverse beer and cider options, and serving size selections. They also have some packaged cans available to-go.
Edit: Mojo is good too! Good food altho the service was a bit slow for how few people were there. Reasonable prices, clean and nice aesthetic! I'd go back!
