**Update: I've returned here since my initial review and every visit has been excellent. Definitely a must try in Midtown! Really really impressed. Mind you I came here for the Valentines Day dinner, so my experience is a little different but I definitely plan to return. Gluten free accommodations were off the hook! So many options I felt like I had no limits. The food- incredibly thoughtful. Not sweet, and for me just right given that it was a 4 course meal. Portions were actually very good, by the end I was stuffed. The patio area is absolutely beautiful and one of the shining gems of this restaurant, we sat just near the glass because it was cold and we were staring out at it all night! Indoor is beautiful as well. The service was top notch. I have no real complaints here, it’s a little pricey but I knew this walking in. Loved every minute and it felt like an experience.

Super cute brunch spot located near the end of Midtown. If the weather is permitting, I highly recommend sitting outside as its tucked away in back garden area that is very peaceful and relaxing. It makes you forget you’re even in Midtown! Their brunch food is amazing and they have a great selection of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. If you fancy a brunch drink, they have an assortment of mixed drinks and wines. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. The service was top notch too.

We came here for brunch and had a very enjoyable meal. The dining area is really relaxing and not at all loud. The food is very tasty as are the cocktails. We will be back!

This place is amazing! The food, the drinks and the service are great! They also have a wonderful outdoor seating. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sacramento. I highly recommend!

Great ambience and good service. The food is quality but not creative. I expected more. We came here for brunch and had the bloody Mary, salmon and avocado Benedict and green Chile omelette. The bloody Mary was too strong both from a flavor and alcohol perspective. The salmon and avocado Benedict was good but forgettable. The omelette was fluffy and well made. Let the chef take some risks. A place like this deserves a few signature dishes.

Legendary outdoor area that I’m going to call one of the best in Northern California, let alone Sacramento. This is what other restaurants try to be when they say “industrial chic”. Incredible water features, tasteful noise dampening on the roof, heating for when it’s cold and fans for when it’s hot… and keeping the rest of the restaurant open to this exterior patio in the back means the whole place is MUCH more COVID safe, which is brilliant design, so even if you’re indoors you’re much safer here than many spots! Food was a delight and priced well for the quality. Flavors all felt purposeful and well considered, although I would say nothing stood out as mind blowing or exceptional - save the decor. Again, spectacular there. The menu had a fair number of options and portions were generous without being overbearing, which I like to see. Don’t give people more than they’ll eat and you reduce food waste and save everyone energy / money. You’d need to bring a party of 10 to try everything on offer here. Starting bread and butter is a treat but so is the grilled bread appetizer - it’s got a sweet note from grapes which you may not expect in the dish but do elevate it. Mussels could have had a stronger flavor but were cooked well. Would look to include more potent oils or salts in this dish, potentially a drier/brighter white wine for accent. A few peppers found their way into the sauce as well but weren’t giving any of their flavor to it. Heirloom tomatoes were decadent, as was the burrata cheese. For sure worth getting if you like these flavors. The team knows how to pick a good tomato that’s for sure. Entrees were each interesting and chicken was cooked perfectly, but probably highlight among them was the salmon. Really tender. Good flavor combinations at play. Portioning on the pasta could have been more generous or at least included other elements more. Feels like they’re too small to sit alongside other large entrees on the menu as they do. Dessert I’d say was strong, although the chocolate sundae suffers from weak random plating, the flavor is great. The almond / fig cake is what you should be eyeing. A good deployment of fig with balanced sweet and savory notes. Plates and silverware were of good quality, glasses were pretty standard. A full carafe of water was always available for us which was great. Service was super friendly and didn’t linger. Was fairly busy during our stay but we never felt ignored. High level of attention to kitchen and good food presentation for sure. You can also tell them to switch order of appearance around for various items or make things come out together and they’ll do it for you, which is really nice. The cook temperatures and finished textures of everything were splendid, without exception. From appetizers to food to strong drinks, there wasn’t a weak note in the whole ordeal. That nothing knocked socks off is not a negative, it just means everything was on equal footing for being quite good. It’s also a local seasonal / sustainable menu which grants big points from my crew. This was our second time dining here and we would 1000% return. One of Sacramento’s very best. And my goodness the outdoors, really really a special place. **(Sorry for the photo order and any duplicates, google is doing that thing where it doesn’t upload some and copies others)

I stopped by with a colleague after work. We sat in a cool atrium seating area in the back and the service was good. The steak was really good. The bar was large and inviting. The table area was quite enough to have a conversation but lively enough to feel you're with a croud.

A fantastic place to dine. The food is excellent. However, the choices are few. The drinks are good and the wine list is decent. Service is a bit slow. The atmosphere is divine.

We were there last evening celebrating a dear friend's birthday. Food and drinks are consistently excellent at Paragary's. The inside is nicely decorated, but its their patio that is the place to be. Unfortunately we weren't able to sit outside due to the rain. Everyone (we had 5 people in our party) was part of the clean plate club. Definitely recommend getting a reservation here.

What a beautiful place to dine! We had a really nice time here! We made reservations and sat outside, the decor was very tasteful. What was a little strange was the hostess "reminded" us that reservations for outside dining only last for an hour and a half... We ordered an appetizer, and everything took a little while to arrive, so when our server cleared the table and returned to ask us if we'd like dessert, an hour and a half had already passed. As not to upset anyone we declined and went somewhere else for dessert. Aside from that everything was very good and we will probably be back.

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here recently and had a wonderful time! Jason at the bar was exceptional, he made our evening! Dinner on the patio was great. Service is top notch. We will definitely be dining here again!

Came here for the second time and it’s really an outstanding place. The quality and the taste of the food are great. The ambiance is nice too. The staff and their appearance are good and friendly. It’s comfort and clean. You get value for your money.

Found this place by chance. When arrives at the place it looked a another restaurant. Little did we know that this place has an awesome backyard that is equipped with heaters and umbrellas for whether you are too cold or too hot. The cocktail selection was interesting. I went with the lavender drink. Simply delicious. The food was also very good. Wife had the salmon Benedict and said it was awesome. I had the burger. Not the best I’ve had but way above average. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and will definitely be back.

The place is absolutely beautiful. 10/10 recommend to visit it, honestly for aesthetics alone. I got the wood fire half chicken thing and the salad it came with was amazing, chicken was good too my friends loved it, (I just prefer grilled) but i shared that meal with a friend both of us weren’t that hungry and it was perfect. The flourless chocolate cake was really good too, super rich so I’m happy I shared that as well. Customer service was really nice and eager to figure things out! It was my friends birthday and can we all just appreciate the back of her DRESS. anyways evening spent well I’d love to come in for brunch some time ! The menu is limited so makes choosing easier

Always one of the best. Love the atmosphere, especially since the remodel several years ago. The floor tiles are stunning. And the patio is a dream come true. You can't tell you're in the middle of the city with all the trees and water fountains. There's heaters and fans, plus strung lights so it can be used all year round. My favorite is breakfast. They have great cocktails like lavender lemon drop, Irish coffee, and a mimosa carafe with different fruit purees. Great for a group. I've always had great service. We have gone for their Easter brunch several years now and it is always wonderful. Especially if you can score a seat on the patio. Would highly recommend!

Wow...Paragary's what happened? Really poor service tonight, the food was extremely bland and v-e-r-y slow. Our poor waiter was very sweet but in the weeds from the very beginning. The manager was wandering around aimlessly while the bussers and waiters were running around like crazy, trying to do their best...but not succeeding. At one point we just wanted our bill - there were so many upset diners stopping our waiter and the manager to complain that they could even see us at our table. Our waiter was a very kind man but management was poor at best and the food was disappointing. Beautiful decor inside and out - but poor service and uninspiring food just makes this a waste of time and money.

Friendly drone the first step in the door. Service food drinks all great. Cole was our server very helpful, the food was fresh, seasoned, and delicious. Came to try the signature mushroom salad was not disappointed so fresh. the corn and ricotta Stuffed ravioli were like small pillows. the cocktails delicious, nice bar. With great outside patio metal, water,& greenery, just nice to be at. Well hope to be back soon🍴

We had a beautiful meal. Each course was visually lovely and tasted just as good as it looked. The wait staff at both the bar and our table were exceptionally attentive and very friendly. We loved the outdoor patio setting and will definitely return often.

Wonderful restaurant. Beautiful patio that makes you feel like your on vacation. I had the best Halibut I've had in years. The lava salt butter with bread is great too.

Only negative was my server forgetting my pizza and then my meal being served cold . Even complained about it and was ignored. Beside that awesome Bartenders , hostess, and outside atmosphere.

Paragary's outside garden is THE best al fresco dining in Sacramento. Start to finish, such a comfortable vibe, absolutely amazing food and perfect service. The New York steak special was perfection.

This restaurant is still one of the best. Very small menu but everything is very good.

I was pleasantly surprised, on my 1st visit, since the mid 90s!!! The Staff knew my daughter, who unbeknownst to me, is a regular, along with her boyfriend. It was my BIRTHDAY, Wednesday night, and she was treating for Dinner! We were shown to "Her Table", by the lovely Skylar, and served 2 of her fave (and now MY Fave!), Drink : The '83 ! I was very impressed by the new Ambiance, created by the open sliding doors, leading to a Beautiful Patio. Our Service, was Impeccable, and the entire meal was The Bomb! I'll Definitely put it at the Top of my List, for Food, Drinks, and Entertainment, in the Sacramento region! Good Job, Crew, and Management Team!!! Sincerely, Jeff Bender

Beautiful outdoor patio dining. Our server, Brenda, was great!

Twice now we’ve made reservations and weren’t seated for 45-60 minutes after our reservation time... even when we showed up early. Went to order a cocktail on the menu.... out of one of the ingredients. Were excited to order off their special/set menu... main course was unavailable and didn’t provide an alternative. Food is good but the service is so slow.

Another amazing meal! Salmon salad w thin sliced pears. Croque madame. Brussel sprouts, hot buttered rum and both whoopie pie AND lemon tarts for desserts. MAGICAL!!!

Great food, loved the atmosphere. Patio dining very nice, kids, dogs it had it all. People there very friendly, service great! Try the blood orange margarita!

Nice remodel, but a little loud inside. Delicious menu, we cant wait to go back. Excellent service. Nia was dealing with a very rude table of drunk couples seated next to us. But she was calm and polite.

The food was spectacular and the patio seating is beautiful!! Highly recommend it!

Brunch was very good and our server very attentive. Since they have re-opened, there seems to be a fly issue every time I visit the restaurant. It is annoying so it would be good if they could get this resolved.

Meatballs were rare, pasta was not tagliatelle it was vermicelli, lobster bisque was very fishy. Service was good

Went here for a private party during the afternoon. Everything was spectacular: ambiance, food, drinks, service, decor. What a beautiful outdoor area as well!

We had a large party with three birthday celebrations and our server Dan was fantastic!! Two steps ahead of any requests and so gracious!!! I was really impressed.
