Came here after some local cops recommended it. Was trying to replace a coffee I bought somewhere else. This place was friendly and fast. There is also breakfast and such a cool area next to the river. Good vibes, friendly service. I’d say give it a try.

Imagine my alarm when 15 minutes into my mocha I didn't hate it. I was instead enjoying it so much it may have come from my house. To strangers on the internet, that compliment doesn't mean a lot, but if you know me, you know. You really know.

We went here for breakfast and decided to sit outside, it was perfect weather and facing the waterfront was nice while we waited for our food. We did walk in expecting a diner like set up but rather got more of a coffee shop feel, none the less the food and coffee were great!

Great food, great staff, and a great view. Loved sitting outside and enjoy the food. If you get the shoestring garlic fries...just know that everyone waking by can smell them and will ask if they are as delicious as they smell.

BEST Denver Omelet I have ever had in my life! Great spot. Outdoor dining available. Service was great. If you're ever in Old Town Sacramento, I would highly recommend stopping there. Buy a meal and a t-shirt. Good coffee. Tip the staff.

Sitting in this little restaurant is magical! I’m waiting for the polar Express train to arrive eating a hot bowl of soup, delicious scone and enjoying my hot tea. The train station and lit up tree are right out the window. Mi had the chicken rice soup. Full of chunks of potato and carrots. I also ordered the blue berry scone … get it!! A little crisp from the caramelized sugar while moist on the inside.

Scrumptious, piping hot coffee, freshly made food, the best biscuit I have ever enjoyed! The hospitality was delightful and fun. The Old Town of Sacramento is a fascinating step back in time. I would go back to Steamers in a heartbeat.

Good service, good price, good food. What else to ask for? Fries are surprisingly good. The cashier recommended good food, bacon turkey salad is pretty good.

Very tasty little spot in old Sacramento. Really like the old timey atmospehere. Are here on two separate occasions during this trip. Both times were for breakfast. They had some great tasting omelettes. And a very killer breakfast taco.

Always stop here when I'm in Old Town for drinks - coffee, etc. I've never had their breakfast but they always look delicious. Reasonably priced as well.

French toast is amazing, homemade biscuits are outstanding too. Super friendly staff. You might think this place would lack because it is right in Old Sac tourist area, but it is great.

Biggest draw for this restaurant is the location. Located in Old Town Sacramento, this establishment offers a decent variety of options for breakfast. I had the Full Deal: 2 eggs, side of toast, bacon and potatoes. Eggs were cooked appropriately, toast had a nice crunch on the golden exterior, bacon was flimsy (could have been luck of draw) and the potatoes were tasty, however slightly too salty. The wife has the bourbon-bacon pancakes. She describes them as fluffy, but need a lot of syrup because the cakes were dry. She would still order the pancakes again, just recommends extra syrup. We both had iced coffees: 1. iced, dirty chai and 2. Iced Vietnamese coffee. Staff was backed up with orders, so the coffees sat for a while, resulting in then being somewhat watered down. Staff was very friendly, responsive and welcoming. Overall, not a stellar experience, but also not bad. We would still come back, it is certainly a unique spot.

We were headed to another breakfast spot and stumbled upon Steamers on the way. Glad we did! Staff is really friendly, coffee is great, and the French toast is excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio with nice views of old town.

Absolutely delicious french toast. We made it in before the rush on a Sunday; my son and I both had mochas which were very rich in flavor but not overpowering with chocolate. We enjoyed our trip and would love to come again soon!

Steamers is one of the few, if only, businesses in Old Sacramento that opens early like 07:00. This was a blessing as I was craving coffee and food. Which they had in style. I ordered the Frnch toast and then the early bird breakfast which is eggs, bacon, toast or potatoes. The French toast does not come with a combo and does not look like traditional square French toast which is perfectly fine. The French toast 3 large slices was cooked perfectly and to me had the right amount of cinnamon on it. The Early bird breakfast come with a healthy portion of eggs 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of toast. The breakfast looked perfect. I actually ate everything which is a first for me. Coffee I had 2 cups and it was quite good as well. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Thanks for starting the day out right.

Had a 4 hour lay over between trains and found this gem. I had the breakfast taco and not only was the staff super friendly and kind, but best dang potatoes, (other then my own.) The mimosa was great, maybe a splash more of champagne, but I'm a picky mimosa person. Love the atmosphere and upscale feel in a country river setting. Shocking in a big city....

A good place for a quick bite to eat, paid metered parking spaces, counter service. Easy and simple menu at reasonable prices concerning the location of the restaurant.
