Great value.
Local staple.
Love the clam cake/clam cake burger.
The Big One (double patty burger) and poutine are clear favorites. The first is comparable to a refined Big Mac or, more closely, comparable to a Double Double from In & Out Burger. The second is a stand out value among an already reasonably priced menu.
I have not tried their lobster roll but have noticed that Ray's market price is among the lowest around.

It's cheap, fast, open late, greasy, and great. If you like the local's take on fast food, this is it.
The Good:
Fast service. Cheap food. Good for what it is, which is fast food. Open later than some other places.
The Meh:
No using indoor counters due to COVID. No outside seating except 1 bench. Basically take out only.
The Bad:
If you're expecting amazing high class food due to the stellar star rating here, you will be bamboozled. Go somewhere else or change your expectations.

Come to try famous rapid rays. Just to be talked down to while trying to make a simple order. Piss poor service. If you can't handle your job don't be a cashier. Every now and then, you gotta have Raps.
Food is of good quality for fast food but overall bland tasting.
Burgers need more fat content as they tend to be on the dry side. Need salt n pepper added when cooking these patties.
Fries are not salted, theredore bland.
Tip: If rapid rays added one food item (peas) to their menu they could offer their 1st dinner plate. The hot hamburg plate.

I walked in to order and there was a line of people that hadn’t even ordered yet and no one taking orders. there was one couple waiting to be served what looked like a very small order.. This place likes to take one order at a time on the off season. If I wanted slow food for less than fast food quality I would go make BarS hotdogs on my grill. I was going to order 20 dogs but this place was not even close to rapid.

If you dont already know, and youre anywhere near Saco, just eat there. You merely have to taste the food, and you will understand. There is no more delicious burger in town, thats a promise, and they have crazy good fries and o rings too. At ridiculously reasonable prices. 60 years or more people have enjoyed this local delicacy, including me, and i will, again and again.

Foods good. My father was friends with the owner . A lots changed though especially with whos running the place. Ive over heard more than once the management being rude to their employees. This really rubs me the wrong way. Nothing will change though because im pretty sure the owners don’t read the reviews.

Cute place, friendly staff but food is bland. Very inexpensive so that's what you can expect. Only had burger, clam cake and fries.
