Wonderful Mexican food with some unique menu items. They have wonderful margaritas. The meal started with a free appetizer of tortilla chip with beans, salsa and lettuce. I had the cheese enchiladas with avacado sauce. My husband had the fajitas. Everything was wonderful and the service was prompt and friendly. I recommend.
Hidden Gem. When I first found out about Frankies, I was not expecting much. When you drive up to the restaurant, the exterior seemed as if it was near falling down. Once you get inside, the restaurant takes on a whole different vibe. Nevertheless, you still feel like you are getting packed into the small restaurant in as many seats as they can fit in there. However, this place is clearly not a secret in the Sachse, Wylie, Murphy market as it always is loaded with people. After eating the food (twice now)...I can understand why everyone does not mind packing into this restaurant. The food and service are incredible, no matter what you order. This is a must eat place if you happen to be in the area.
Amazing discovery. This is the best Mexican food we have found in the Dallas area and that's saying quite a bit since we have lived here on and off for over thirty years. The people are so nice and the creative offerings at Frankie's are amazing.
I love their mole sauce on anything and my wife loves their brisket tacos so much she can't order anything else (though she tries my entrees and thinks they are outstanding.)
Their happy hour drinks are pretty awesome as well. This is our new, favorite place to eat. Don't worry about the crowd if you find one; the wait will be well worth the trouble.

Love it!. Frankie's is definitely our favorite mexican, ever. The brisket enchiladas are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The salsa, the margaritas and the flan are also pretty good.

We love it!. The best Mexican food in the area. Love the salsa and chips. I judge whether it's a good Mexican restaurant or not my this. (LOL) Always consistent and priced well. We go about twice a month. Highly recommend.
You can't go wrong eating here. They have the best Mexican food I think I have ever had. I love the fish tacos, and their street corn is to die for. We frequent this place often. I have never had anything that I did not like. Get there early, because they do get busy. The wait staff is excellent and really care about you.
Great first visit! Chips and salsa and queso were great start to a fantastic dinner. I had the chicken fajitas (perfect flavor) and the husband had one of the many special enchilada plates offered. We already know what we will be trying on our next 2 visits!
I will definitely be back to Frankie’s…. I was seated right away! My waitress was spot on always making sure I was happy . The corn Elote is amazing! The salsa is delicious. There was so many different things I wanted to try but I started with a mixed combination of fajitas. It’s quite a bit of food and I had enough to take home for another meal, the beef was even good cold the next day I cut it up and made a roast beef sandwich. I tried margarita on the rocks and frozen I usually like the rocks but I preferred the frozen delicious!
Delicious brisket enchiladas on a bed of potatoes with a Verde cream sauce. Add jalepenos. I brought my own pickled jalepenos because they used to only have fresh jalepenos but I saw some pickled jalepenos on someone's nachos so I guess they have it now. Super yummy!

Best Tex Mex I've ever had. I had the Mexican Lasagna and it was so delicious. I will be back many, many times.
Great Mexican cuisine. I had the ranchero and was fresh and tasted delicious. The service wasn’t quick but could tell they were short staffed so no biggie. Also the salsa they serve with the chips had excellent flavor. If your in the area definitely visit Frankie’s.
We found this while looking for a place for my birthday. The reviews led us in, but they gained repeat customers with the service and food!! We ordered shrimp cocktail, street corn, Mexican Lasagna, salmon tacos and shrimp pasta. All were amazing! The chips and salsa were awesome! We ended with the Sopapilla bites and they were delicious! The place was crowded for a Monday, but our wait time was less than 5 minutes.
